Not only are you positioned within a base, which already grants you a significant advantage, but you also have the capability to deploy dupes and utilize a wide range of entities - including forcefields, tripmines, turrets, controllable turrets, propeller traps, S.C.A.N. jammers, and many many more.

Whether or not suit chambers are present, the upper hand is clearly yours.
