Since I've been a moderator, I have realized that many warns are carried out, which is why I have come up with a system that rewards players who respect the rules on the basis of those who don't.
Every time a player is punished, 10/100/100 diamonds are taken from him for example, and put into a pot, that pot will be given to those who have respected the rules and have no recent punishment. Those without a recent enter the weekly jackpot drawing.

Benefits: encourages good behavior among players, in order to be rewarded. Also, people would try to connect at least once a week to see if they have been lucky.

Maybe the punished people do not like this, so it may also be that these diamonds can be generated only for the lottery.

I suggest a pot between 1k and 10k
I know it can be difficult to organize the code base that does this, but I think it is worth it to encourage good behavior

Its a nice idea to give back to the users who abide by the rules and spend a lot of time on the server. The problem is that there are so many players who arent terribly active who are eligible to receive this lottery that the odds of winning will be very low. If just the players over a certain playtime become eligible then users might just sit in spectator mode if the reward is worth it.

I also dont see taking diamonds away from rulebreakers to be much of a deterrent. If they are going to break rules then i dont see them being stopped by the potential of losing 100 diamonds. And then accidental RDM will keep happening anyway, tho verbal warnings will suffice for these.

Overall there will always be RDM on the server a slay and a warn is enough of a punishment. And as a lottery the chances are winning will be very low, or if we was just to give all players a reward then the reward will be very low. Its a good idea to reward rule abiding users but im not sure that this is the path to go down.
