So we just had a player come on the server and starting spinbotting (proof)- Exothermic362 kicked xyquad (Hacking) in addition to this he called 2 different players the n words in reports personally I feel as though harder action should be taken upon hackers for example just a perma ban rather then allow them to come back to the server anytime and just hack again thoughts? The policy for hacking is their first punishment is a warn/kick (kick if online, warn if not), second is a perma ban, It is like a second chance then if they continue to hack they wont be allowed back on the server. like its not something accidental like rdm for example
like hackers go out of there way to gain an advantage of players and ruin their time during the server which could result in players not coming back to the server if they are new and see a hacker just get kicked

The policy is actually quite strict when compared to other games. On other games, maybe you get a permanent ban on first offense, but they can just buy a new account and keep playing. However here, they are given a warning, then if they ignore it and keep hacking, they are permanently banned, and they cannot join with another account.

Also, people do dumb things, and they deserve another chance. As for the racism, if he hasn't been punished for it already, if you can provide us with proof of this as well as proof of steamid, then we can punish him for this too.

Mind you that if a hacker is using the right cheat and NOT Mass RDMING it can take up to 2 weeks of constantly not being able to have any fun because of a cheater that knows what they are doing. Not to mention the amount cheating and mass RDM that happens when no one is on to record.

Also people definitely don't buy new accounts to come and hack again... You make it seem like people can't do this. Truthfully they just don't because there is 100 other servers to hack on.

when i was mod since i couldnt BAN yet i used to give them 100 aslays and we just play normally . Cba to wait for 11 warnings so the system bans them
This was only when i am the only staff online ( and on steam too )

Chute, did you log on to the wrong account?

For the time being, the hacking policy is going to remain as-is - based on changes made over the years, we believe that the current policy is the best approach - we know that all approaches have their pros and cons, and the current policy seems to work well for us.

If you ever feel like a policy should be added/changed/removed in the future, feel free to make a suggestion here: zarpgaming.com/index.php/forum/server-issues

We'd also always recommend having an idea of what changes you'd like to see before making a suggestion.
