Suggestion Title: Change the Rules 2.1 and 2.6

How would it benefit the server:Prevent a lot of slays and warns

Potential Issues/Exploits:MAYBE RDM but the detective should be more aware.

Additional notes:This rule is ruining the DNA scanner as IF the Traitor simply says " He shot me first " then he passed without getting Killed this is making the DNA scanner not even worth the trouble anymore . here is a very simple and may need more details for the new rule

New Rule : Any DNA gathered from an INNOCENTcorpse leading to the KILLERshould be KOS'ed, however The Following reasons Should be put into consideration:

• That The Killer CLAIMED after Identifying the corpse why he killed him
• The corpse was a Traitors'corpse

I just want to say that details matter and that case you can add as many restrictions as you like HOWEVER the whole idea of asking why he killed is pretty flawed because Getting the DNA + Chasing the DNA spots over and over again till you confirm the Player Is already difficult to do ADDING that i have to question him while already chasing him is pretty much saying " Get Killed " So as a Detective i wouldnt even bother using it again if all it will do is get me killed and if it wont , it wont get me a Traitor kill either . the idea is good but it may needs work on and i really tried . I used it today and the only thing that happened was me getting killed .

Most of the time when you ask someone they either dont respond or say they didnt do it so you can kill them instantly.

If this is just about the new rule change then I don't thing changing it back will do any good cus it's only been changed a few days ago and it's not like the server is on fire

This rule change will do nothing.

Claiming why you killed a person after you ID the body will be the same thing when someone asks you about it.

Its the act of being a traitor that makes the game fun. Being able to kill everyone based of DNA without reason is not the game type.

However, I'm a bit confused of the things you've said. The "new rule" everyone keeps implying has been here for ages. The latest rule change was so people get less confused when reading our rules. So there was nothing changed just added for clarification.


Might I add, the DNA scanner is not useless. Its actually really handy to use and its creates the opportunity to see who's done something wrong to then force test them. (using tab)
At the end with your new rule suggestion, you'll end up breaking rule 2.1 as he could have a valid reason why he killed that person.

so lets say an inno got the dna scanner and scans a dead inno and kills that person and it was inno.
That will ruin the round of that inno because maybe he did have a reason to kill the other guy.
Also the rule prevents people from just doing that to other players.

DNA acts as a device to find the killer of the person (more accurately the corpse) it is used on. With this information players still need to determine whether they were killed for a valid reason or not. Last meeting we added a new situation to invalid KOS reasons and that applies to this situation.

Obviously if the player doesn’t give a reason when asked, gives an invalid reason or gives a reason you know for a fact is false you can KOS them.

No rule change is needed.
