To reduce the spam you could make these notifications only applicable to items below a certain drop rate.

i.e: If the drop rate <=5%, a notification will be sent.

PS. We shouldn't discard the idea on the premise that other servers also have this function, Markus. You'd need to have more arguments than just that.

Good idea, but whenever double booster events come around it would flood chat. As it's already been stated by other people, a console command to toggle the notifications would be necessary. I can't see why this would be denied as it has already been done with suit rips.

Perhaps golden blueprints should be notified in the blueprint case aswell
