Slayed me without just cause

TTT

hello,
i have recently joined zarp and was happy playing on your sever
after a half an hour or so i was reported for RDM (by saltybiscuits - i think his ingame name was )
which was false
- he was called out for KOS but multiple people
- he was looking down the ladder near t test from the cliff below the top at someone who had just jumped off
- i shot him in the head twice which killed him with an AK74- i think
- he was a traitor so its not like i was wrong - he was called out for KOS also by everyone
- due to me shooting him first wave saw fit to slay me for 1 round for RDM even though he had not proof i RDM'ed him
- surely i am innocent untill proven guilty -
-due to experience i understand that sometimes it can be difficult ascertain evidence due to lack of proper logs and playbacks however i understand that he may be new to the role and require guidance on how to properly handle situations in his role. i would personally be willing to aid him in this if necessary
sorry to cause a disturbance on the server however i feel it necessary to uphold the integrity of the server and help people come to enjoy playing ttt (a gamemode which i adore)

When making a report on a staff member you should follow this template;

[b]What Did The Staff Member(s) do?:[/b]

[b]What Server(s) Was This On?:[/b]

[b]Evidence:[/b]

You can fill in the template by pressing the “edit” button.

In terms of the report, if the user was KOSed and there’s nothing else to this story then you had valid reason to kill them. If wave was not sure whether this player was KOSed or not and no evidence was provided, he should not have punished you. Just need his side of the story.

Okay so first of all, he didn't include anything in the report about saltybiscuits being KOS'd. Secondly I scrolled down the entire chat and didnt find a single KOS on saltybiscuits. Thirdly I'm very active through voice chat and did not hear a single KOS on saltybiscuits. Finally, when I asked intergalactic why he killed him he didn't reply with a " he was KOS'd" and instead first, told me that he was a traitor so I didn't do anything wrong. I don't seem to see why I was wrong in this case but I am sure very desperate to see why.

ok,
1. he was kos'ed constantly in voice chat b4 i killed him
2. you did the report like 7 rounds after so i doubt if you are not lying then you probably forgot
3. you do all other reports in like 2 seconds i doubt you even take all information in to consideration
4. please copy all of our chat due to the fact that what you state i said is not the case. so lying to save your ass is not honorable nor right nor appropriate trait for a moderator on such a prestigious server

If what wavE is saying is true, then he had every right to slay you. If you said something like "he was a traitor" instead of the fact that he was kos'd in chat, then it's not entirely his fault that you were falsely punished. Like you said, the user was kos'd through voice chat, so perhaps wavE didn't hear the kos which is not his fault. He also said that he searched through text chat for a kos but could not find any. I would advise saying if a player was actually kos'd in a report in future.

Now, wavE definitely could have handled this situation better by opening a chat and asking for a reason as well, which I hope he will do in future.

Like I said, this is just going by what wavE has said, if you did tell wavE that he was kos'd then of course you shouldn't have been punished. Without any evidence, there is not much that can be done. I would also like to hear your side of the story regarding the report in game and what you replied with.

Well rulebreaker i did talk to him and he suddenly out of the blue came up with the idea of saying that salty was KOS'd. Sadly I dont have the chat screenshotted where I did PM him multiple times and where he kept spamming the admin chat. I guess I should have screenshotted the chat but I will for sure screenshot it next time in a similar situation.

ok one i was not spamming the admin chat i was trying to resolve the issue and due to the fact i didnt know the command for reply (i havent played gmod in while) however if it was an issue he should of informed me to use that method of communication instead i understand he may want to leave admin chat free however as i have stated i didnt recall the command sorry.
as for he conveniently forgetting to screenshot it that is not my problem.

i did not say that out of the blue i said it from the start i did not rdm him he was kos'ed it was not Random but well reasoned due to him being a known traitor

i do believe there are chat logs saved on the server perhaps these would aid in proving my innocence and also proving that wave is using lies and manipulation of the facts to protect him self as he knows he was in the wrong
i would be willing to talk in game further and submit to any query you have to get this issue resolve appropriately

See, this is why you should NEVER listen to a KOS called via VC, because at times like these - It's hard to have proof that someone was actually KOSed, good luck on your appeal but please, if you want to avoid such problems, just ask the person KOSing someone to type it in chat.
