Surf Changelog 14/01/2024
+ Added new Voice Chat panel system
+ Added failsafe/return mechanisms and notify messages along with functionality to correctly execute staff promotions/demotions
+ Added several other failsafe/return mechanisms for a more error-free experience
+ Added more RTV sounds

Fixed RTV timers and their functionality for all states of the game (start of map, start of vote, end of vote, extend, etc)
Changed Admin code to support the latest pointshop changes
Changed several aspects of the RTV code that resulted in the incorrect execution of functions resulting in certain checks not doing their job and things breaking apart
Changed setaccess/removeaccess UI behavior to match the behavior that closes and refreshes the panel so that the changes take visual effect immediately
Several other changes & fixes
Corrected all occurances of staff rank mentions to reflect the correct rank colors
Corrected all staff name acronyms and full names to reflect the full name format wherever appropriate
Changed team colors (surfers, spectators)

- Removed old Voice Chat code
- Several code removals to eliminate unecessary resource feed and improve general functionality

Surf Changelog 24/03/2024
+ Added newest to oldest sorting to the Admin Menu's 'Ban List' 's panel
+ Added "!run" and "!help" commands
+ Added SteamID parameter checks for client & server commands
+ Added player and console prints for bad arguments

Fixed the temporary game freeze when opening the surf menu which was caused by the simultaneous load of all tabs including 'Records' that was the culprit
Fixed banning as a client, either from the UI or console which was impossible so far due to the code handling command parameters incorrectly
Re-arranged the Admin Menu's 'Ban List' 's panel elements for their proper display
Fixed the bans caching table getting wiped and not loading properly once a ban was issued forcing the user to close and reopen the menu for the data repopulation
Fixed improper handling of Custom Binds that caused errors
Fixed improper SteamIDTo64 utilization that caused inconsistent results in the Admin Menu's 'Ban List'
Reworded certain player notifications
Changed RTV vote requirement from more or equal to 1 player online to more than 1 player online
Fixed no data retrieval for level and exp in the Pointshop Menu
Fixed being able to see your own name when spectating another player while having the {spec} from Custom Huds
Fixed improper calculations with exp needed for the next level using {rxp} from Custom Huds
Fixed an issue with VIP tag not persisting across sessions

Surf Changelog 06/07/2024

+ Added self saving when selecting a public hud, to avoid rejoining the server with an empty hud if you forgot to click on the "save hud" button.
Fixed an issue with the huds showing "[N/A]" as a WR
Fixed an issue with Stage Personal and Stage WR records not updating when restarting your run, which updated only when you exited the start zone
Fixed scoreboard names exceeding the predifined space when long enough. Will now be truncated with "..." appended to them
Fixed scoreboard and profile names not applying custom vip name when set
Fixed copying name on scoreboard not copying the custom vip name when set
Fixed and adjusted several UI elements that were overlapping or were not correctly placed with default hud when spectating or not
Fixed a major exploit that allowed players to get times under a second
Since this has been going on for months by several players who failed to report this but abused it anyway:
  • Every player that exploited their time in any amount of maps or styles has been wiped.
    This includes any bot runs they might had saved
Increased chances of triggering a zarp surf easter egg upon starting a run timer
Several typo fixes and code optimizations to decrease redundancy, repetitiveness and errors
