I’d be careful how you approach your new “attitude”. I’m only saying this because you’ll end up putting yourself in a worse spot and you will affect how people interact with you and how they see you. This is something I avoid doing and I highly advise you do not start acting differently to people especially during your staffing duties. My wildest guess is that due to the fact of how Nick is being treated he believes a change in attitude resolves it.

Frankly, it doesn't. It makes matters worse when you take things the wrong way or react in such a manner where more people oppose you.
