Reinstall steam and gmod, that'll do the trick.. Or not, no idea really but at least it's worth a try

I know this is for VAC problems, but if you scroll down you will find a way of repairing steam with a command. I used it once and it fixed some problems I had with games. Good luck and I hope this works!
