TOPIC: [SSRP] Encourage basing.

Suggestion Title
Show the defending side of raids some love, encourage basing and get the gamemode rolling again.

How would it benefit the server
You rarely see anyone basing on the ssrp servers nowadays, and for good reason, the amount of tools that the raiding side has are just too many, unless you have 10+ players and 300 props, then you shouldnt bother trying. This creates a very stale envoirement on the server, nobody wants to spawn bases, so theres noone to raid.

Another huge issue is that basing was how most people made their friends on ssrp, with it being gone, people are less likely to connect socially with each other, making them way less likely to stay.

There are many ways that you go about fixing this issue, a few suggestions could be:

More moneyholes
At this point, most people are just far too rich, when you have this much money, and nothing to spend it on, then you stop basing, because theres no point. You could reset the economy, add more things to buy, or you could squish the economy; my personal favorite.

Make all windows solid
There are very few houses that you can actually base in, if you made all windows unbreakable, it would open up alot of new spots, that where otherwise useless, allowing builders more creativity.

Nerf the explosives
Im sorry, but it just has to be said, i am convinced that explosives are a good idea, to some extend, but right now it is simply way too much, and way too easy to get your hands on. I would suggest highering the requirements to craft most explosives, and lowering the blast radius significantly.

I do miss all of the basing, right now it's either you base with the guys that have it all or you get destroyed basing with you or just a few people.

TBH i would like this idea!

Yes to every of them, the explosives are far to overpowered, and its impossible to base without 5 people+

You def need to accept this..

Raiders can blow up your base with Milkor, RPG , gamma rifle , m202 , matador and a lot of weapons

And defenders cannot do anything

That's why I don't base at all..

Just make it a little bit more difficult to raid ..

Hell yea, the only bases I see now are A-Teams. The other day , Gems gave me an M202 for free but go back a year and a quarter , you would be mining your ass off for days to get an M202.

Please for God's sake. I haven't came on the server in 2 weeks because there is nothing to do besides bhop around and find reasons to shoot people.

For this suggestion, this is tricky. We obviously need this, but if we were to nerf the explosives, Prop Protection 2 and of course 3 would become extremely Over Powered.

I would like this a lot, when i started, i was basing 24/7 and there were always bases to raid for the challenge, and it sucks for me to see that server 2 is now a ghost town. Solo basing is practically impossible, and i have shown myself that even the best of the best on the server can be screwed by special weapons, not even the most expensive ones.

We need to find a defense system for new players to defend against the experienced users and raiders to make it somewhat fair, fairly new users stand no chance defending their couple of regular printers against a guy with scope boost and fire shooting thunder gun.
