My suggestion of craft able stat boosts (permanent) or craft able permanent weapons or craft able cosmetics (hats, etc.) all weapons could be turned into either money packs containing a set amount of money per weapon, or their crafted mats.

I personally like how they promote investigations into better base building. I also agree they should be removed in that respect but they should be kept as weapons as being able to clear out a base's inhabitants with an orb is still helpful.
I think there needs to be a total rebalance of the guns. Making craft able useful and needing others.
