Couldn't possibly leave myself out of this after quite the effort i've put myself into attempting something of this sort or similar.
First of all, a hacking policy change would affect the whole community, and not just SSRP. Second of all, there have been quite A FEW talks about not just reworking the policy, but changing/combining the anticheat itself with a 3rd party one that would be managed and supported by the provider, and even changing/combining the anticheat with a 3rd party one that would be non-obfuscated and independently sold and used by anyone. These ideas and probably many more have already been discussed and countered with for several reasons each, so i believe that if there is not only enough attention brought to this again, but independent hearings with well-rounded scenarios and specific policy wording alterations, then we might have a chance of making some impactful changes. I'd definitely love to be a part of a community hearing of some sort just like what happened in the last Q&A for instance. |

Unironically a pretty good suggestion if you ACTUALLY want to catch cheaters. Unfortunately in Garry's Mod it's just impossible to write an anti-cheat that's actually good. But at the same time, you can just spectate someone and catch them but the issue is that you need to be HA+ plus zarp is too strict on considering cheating proof "conclusive" Couldn't possibly leave myself out of this after quite the effort i've put myself into attempting something of this sort or similar.
