Whilst at first I never really saw a problem with this system, upon gaining personal experience with its flaws, and later seeing others get screwed by the same thing I knew something had to be done. There's often a lot of things that people forget/don't know which may drastically change the outcome of situations, and although appeals exist they are not taken nearly as seriously as I feel they should be.

I feel that sometimes we might need a reminder that staff too are human beings, and allowing them to express their concerns, thoughts and permit them to explain their actions themselves might bring to light previously unknown facts and or show the way a staff member truly feels about the choices they made. There's an issue here and in the face of ever-decreasing staff numbers and in the hope of establishing a level of fairness towards staff within the community when it comes to their demotions I feel that a change has to be made.

As far as I could see I'm not the only person who thinks this way, and I hope that someone in the community team thinks a similar way and will help us in making a swift transition to a fairer punishment system. Oh, and bump I suppose.

Not the biggest fan of bumping after a bump with no comment, but most comments have been given already it seems. This one, however, is the most important one I feel so bump it I shall!

I respect all that you're trying to do, but there have been several meetings where this could have been discussed (it's not every day they receive requests of this kind, so it would make sense they got attention when they DO happen). If you haven't heard back now, I assume they don't plan on acting on it in any way. If they are, they should really give an update of any kind. Staff have undoubtably seen this thread numerous times now, the least they can do is acknowledge if they do or do not care for it.
