How about we make verbal warn notes on a player's rapsheet that don't count towards anything but are just pointed out when a staff member is checking a player's rapsheet while handling an f1 so that multiple verbals are not given out by different staff members, So that punishment is given I respect your suggestion but this to me seems exactly the same as a normal warning. It takes a few warnings for an actual punishment anyway so what's the difference? |

Obviously, if the player has a previous record, they don't need a verbal warning. But if a player were to join and make a mistake and are sorry for it, I don't see why they shouldn't get a verbal warning. Also, rapsheet notes would fix this issue, imo. I suggested the ULX notes module (Simple Notes) in the discord but I was told if I wanted it logged, the player should be officially warned so /shrug |

If you broke a rule, you were warned. A warning doesn't really mean anything, it's just a warning. It's not a proper punishment of any kind. If you join the server and accidentally broke a rule, you should have read them properly. Worst case scenario, you are given a little warning and it's done. |

I agree with this; The punishment system is broken. When I was Moderator I got told that punishment was my own discression meaning if I felt a warning was needed then tough shit you got a warning as so many people get away with stuff, then when I warned I got in shit for it due to “ethos”.
Why tell Staff that it’s at our own discretion then tell us off for punishing for a time break? |

I genuinely have no clue why they changed the system like this. Why not just warn people? Are you afraid you’re going to alienate your sensitive community of 12 year olds? There’s rules that explicitly have to be read, why go so soft on people when they don’t do this and break them?
