Server Name: TTT

Suggestion Title: Removal of Minecarts from [ttt_minecraft_b5]

How would it benefit the server:
Significantly or entirely reduce the amount of prop abuse and eliminate means for surfing. As the minecarts have little to no function on the map and simply cause players to end up with potential warns/slays for prop abuse/surf.

Potential Issues/Exploits:
I don't see anything negative resulting from this in-game.
Noob programmer so wouldn't know how hard this would be to implement.

Additional notes:
UPDATE: Concerning the minecart on which the Traitor 'TNT Minecart' trap relies on, we can leave that untouched as it can't be handled (picked up, pushed, etc..) by players since it runs on rails and as such can't be used for prop abuse/surfing.

The mine carts are pretty much useless unless used for any kind of prop abuse, which they are not intended for. Good suggestion, but I don’t think it can be implemented

Pretty sure all that needs to be done is that they need to be removed manually from the map, which is easy enough to do.

Though, I do agree, there's absolutely no point them realistically being on the map because they have a useful reason to even be on the map in the first place.

They serve a purpouse with the T weapon Poltergeist and this synergy is only use for props afaik

Yet, how often do people actually use things like the Poltergeist with the intention of actually using it against minecarts? You can use the poltergeist on dead bodies, and that works just the same.

Was unaware of this, thanks for stating Dodo. Still, as long as I have been playing, I have never seen the mincecarts being used like that and even barely seen 'T's used the Poltergeist.

Based on what Bezzy has said and some research, I believe this is still not an adequate reason to keep the minecarts when other props or dead bodies can be used.

The tnt minecart requires a minecart tho, so there would be a need for a new traitor trap

To prevent the hassle of creating a new traitor trap, we could leave only that particular minecart as having only one minecart would still significantly reduce the amount of prop abuse on the server.

Minecarts do more fucking bad than good. The only purpose they have ever served me is someone prop abusing in anyway. It would just help so much for it to be gone.

Minecarts are part of the map. We can't remove them except if we make our own version of the map which needs time, which the people owning TTT currently don't have.

Minecarts should not be removed because there are multiple uses for them that do not break the rules. For example pushing a cart into the nether portal to see if it is trapped and placing minecarts in front of the traitor room to slow down potential traitors who try to flee there. Also they are essential to the effective use of the poltergeist.
