Suggestion Title:

A new or improved Anticheat system

How would it benefit the server:

Hackers are constantly getting away with hacking (unless recorded and then sent to LT Meetings - which still take time to get through and actually deal with users) as the current TTT anticheat is rather outdated and unreliable where it cannot catch almost all the cheats that users have used on the server. Therefore disrupting the server and ruining the fun for the community - with new Anticheats this will allow us to catch hackers more easier and causes less issues than it has with the LT Meetings and in the forums (you know what I mean).

Potential Issues/Exploits:

Improper coding is the only issue I see.

This is definitely needed! I have only once caught a hacker on the anti-cheat the rest of the times he got away because the anti-cheat showed nothing and i don't always have a recording program available to catch them! Big but i think you could have just talked to Max and Capt1n instead of making this

Could say the same to you Nick (referring to your posts).

I have talked to Max and Captain about this cause it troubled me a lot. It's one of the main reasons i made that Hacking Policy Post.

According to Max, they all are trying their best to improve the Anticheat all the time. But hackers always find a way around it and manage to use hacks bypassing it. Even if they Update it or even if they use a new one, there will always be hacks which it can't detect.

There's really no use in making a great anti cheat, the anti cheats we have at the moment both automatic and non automatic catch most of the hackers. At the end of the day if people want to bypass any anti cheat on Garry's Mod they can.

yes im tired of seeing people give up in ttt because of such dumb reasons

You know, we could just put the anticheat that already exists in the place of the old one that is on the server now....

We already have the one that was worked on by Tyler and myself (Tyler making the actual methods, I just rewrote it for ULX), but apparently Max and Captin do not want something that I worked on to be put onto the server (as I was told the last time I asked them about it), even though it would actually help the server. I will try to talk to Captin/Max/Tyler about this again at some point, and see if they listen.

Probably won’t get changed but it should be changed !

If it is possible, I'm sure it would make a difference.
Watching a hacker doing as he pleases and witnessing the anticheat not working ... it can be frustrating for everyone.
