Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
RDM or RandomDeathMatch means a player attacking, injuring or even killing another player without a solid RolePlay-Reason.
Example: Player A(Hobo) attacks Player B(Citizen) because they had an argument in the ooc-chat(Out-of-Character).
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
NLR which in a way means forgetting about everything and starting a new life after you died On our Server/Servers it means that you cant enter the same district in a dedicated time(which is shown on the upper screen).
Example: A district is an area bordered of tunnels.
Player A(Gangster) kills Player B(Citizen) while raiding the base of Player B. Player B has to wait until the red square with the timer disappears so he can go back to his base.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming means writing things into the ooc-chat which are RP related.
Example: Player A: I need a gundealer immediately! Come to the fountain!
Player B: Sure! I'll come around!
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
First of all I would get both of them onto a roof and check if they really didn't have any reason to kill each other. Then I would listen to both version what happened(and ask for proof). Check the console again. And if the problem isn't solved yet(if its solved i would decide what punishment is acceptable in the given case). I would probably give them a verbal warning and send them down again. If there isn't a F1 at the moment, I would have an eye on both of them.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would get both players on the roof once again. If any of them had proof, i would punish the guilty one with a warn(NLR). If not, I would again verbally warn them and then teleport them back to there position.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the ooc chat because his bank is being raided.
I would tell him to stop(via PM). If he wouldn't stop I would get him on a roof and explain metagaming to him. If he still wouldn't stop I would warn him for metagaming.
Why should I be chosen?
I started on this 2 months ago, at this time I still played on other servers(DarkRP,StarWarsRP).
But this server is just slightly better. I decided to only play on this server about 1 month ago and I had some great fun. The playerbase is one of the best I've ever seen. The moderators are kind and always help in whatever situation you are. One Story i want to tell because I was so surprised of it:
„One day I had a lottery and a guy called CoCoBean came up to me. He wanted to play and gave me 1,5 million dollar. At that time I only had about 300k so I refused and gave him the money back. He asked me why and I explained to him that i wasn't rich. He took me to another room and gave me 500000 dollars a Milkor C4 and a Venom-Mine. I was surprised…“
This and other storys got me to stay on this server buy VIP and write this moderator application.
I do know all rules and I promise to not break them anymore(I had some warns about NLR).
I already read the guides and instructions of ZarpGaming on „How to be a moderator“ and I thank everyone who read the whole application. I hope you can support me or give me a good comment on what I could/should/shouldn't do in a future application.
