General Administrator Questions: When it is appropriate to use the ban command: ~ It is appropriate to use the ban command when:
- a user has many recents
-after being punished for breaking a rule multiple times still fails to comply
-the player is threatening to DDoS the server
-the user is leaving to avoid punishment
-they are using cheats/hacks
Any situation I had to work around as a moderator and how I believe it’d be able to be handled more efficiently as an admin: ~ A few days ago, a user began mic spamming. When they were punished, they left to avoid their punishments. Then he kept mic spamming. Every time I muted him, he just left and came back, repeating the cycle several times. A higher ranked staff member was eventually called, and the rule breaker was banned for 24 hours. As an admin, I could implement punishments and handle situations more efficiently.
Why I should be promoted: ~ I have been playing everyday, being one of the most active Deathrun staff members. I currently hold the rank of Admin on the Bunny Hop server. I am really experienced. I know a lot about the command system. If I were to be promoted, I would be able to punish rulebreakers accordingly to more degrees. I could bring about good changes to the server, such as getting rid of the bothersome players appropriately. I know that as an Admin, I will need to work hard to fulfil my duties. I do realise that and therefore believe that I’m ready to take on the Admin rank.

Thanks for applying for staff at ZARP Deathrun! During our weekly staff meeting your application, question answers, game trackers and in-game warnings are checked and then the staff team votes on your application.

Before you get started, an SuperAdmin + and possibly another Admin will help train you on the server and get you setup with your new rank. There’s also a handy guide created by the community which should help you get up to speed with your new menus & commands. And don’t forget you can always ask another staff member if you’re not sure about something
There’s a weekly staff meeting for the server at the above time, which is held on the ZARP Teamspeak server (IP: ts.zarpgaming.com). You now get a vote on the new staff members and we’ll keep you up to date with new events and server updates at the meeting.
