How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator: I feel like my time as an administrator has allowed me to really understand the ins and outs of the Murder staff team and the process that it goes through. My inclusion and activity during meetings also have allowed me to push my knowledge of an LT member's role to higher standards than the other Administrators applying for Super Admin. I feel this will allow me to do a much better job than the other applicants as I will A. Have more experience with the role in general due to my past experiences and B. I will have a better idea of how to be the ideal Super Admin for Murder.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want): I feel I am the
best candidate for the super administrator team as not only do I have a superb amount of experience but I have also observed the current and previous Super Admins in how they do their jobs and as a result I believe that with these qualities paired with the fact that I am friends with the rest of the Murder LT so will work well with the team then I will be superior to the other applicants. On top of this I will be able to crack down on hackers and other abusive individuals at a much faster rate due to my expertise and previous experiences with such abusive individuals. I believe my maturity and viewpoints on how Murder should progress as a server will not only be beneficial to it but also better expressed and backed up now that I will be more active in the discussions regarding the server.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available: While I was an administrator there was an issue of disrespect which occured on Teamspeak in which there was an individual who was being disrespectful but not explicitly disrespectful towards another individual and I was unaware of which punishment should be given as it was not stated that it was against TOU so I initially wanted to contact a Teamspeak staff member or Teamspeak Head Admin to seek guidance on the matter but as there were none available I decided to confront the individual and inform him that his actions were not allowed and that he was causing that individual to feel offended and that if he continued a punishment will have to be given and as a result he halted his actions immediately.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member: I would first read the report and look at the evidence, if I decided it was necessary for me personally to handle it I would reply stating so however initially I would ask other LT members if they had any extra information to add to the report if they were there at the time since that would make them more suitable when handling the report, following this I would review the report and the evidence and contact the reported staff member about it. If the report shows blatant abuse I will speak to the staff member about it and understand why they did it thus ensuring they will not do it again however if the abuse is not so blatant and comes under a grey area then I will speak to the staff member and try to understand the situation further. After speaking to both parties and getting the most information I can I will make a verdict on whether to accept or deny the report.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
I will attempt to contact them via Steam or Teamspeak and ask them if there were any extra reasons which may explain the excessive ban length, if there I will alter the ban reason to include these new reasons and inform them that in the future they must list all that affect the ban length but if there are no extra reasons then I will inform them that their ban length is too long, teach them the correct ban lengths and alter the ban length.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I will initially spectate the staff member to get a feel of the situation and if they are struggling I will ask them if they need any help, should they request help I will take over the situation and attempt to continue where the staff member left off and finish the situation in a professional and correct manner.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
I will first attempt to speak to the staff member accusing the other one and listen to their accusations, I will then ask if they have any evidence which may back up their accusations, I will review the evidence if any and contact the staff member being accused and reveal the accusations to them. If they deny the accusations I will present them with the evidence and explain to them what it is they have done which is breaking the rules. I will teach them how to be better staff in the future and not break rules.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
Disorder and disagreements within the staff team are extremely negative in my opinions as it causes discord within their staffing capabilities and overall lowers teamwork and efficiency and as a result they should be avoided or mitigated with utmost speed. If the argument is on Teamspeak I will drag both staff members into a spacer and ask them to please be quiet while I speak, I will ask each of them what the issue is and try to calm them down before proceeding, if it is a personal issue I will ask them to please put their differences aside or argue the issue in a civil, non-aggressive manner however if it is a staff or server issue then I will investigate the issue and attempt to resolve any issues they are facing and keep both members happy.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
I will first stop them from doing whatever it is they are doing, I will then speak to them in Teamspeak or over Steam and inform them of what they did wrong and why it is such a severe issue, if they respond maturely and promise that they will not do such things in the future then I will end the talk and ask the staff member to apologise to any players who were affected by his actions but if he/she responds aggressively then an Official Warning will be given to him and if he/she continues then I will call for their demotion and apologise to the affected players myself.
