Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.

Random Death Match, shortly known as RDM is where a player kills another player without any valid reasons. Here are two examples for what RDM is and what it is not:

RDM
Jordan kills Alex because Alex called Jordan a pie head. Since Jordan didn't have a valid role-play reason to kill Alex, that would be RDM and result in Jordan getting punished.

NOT RDM
Jordan kills Alex because Alex walks into Jordan's base. Since Alex is technically entering Jordan's home territory, Jordan has all rights to defend his wife and children inside his house.... and illegal printing system.

Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.

New Life Rule, shortly known as NLR is the most command broken rule. What is it? It's where once you've died in a place, you can't go into that area for a certain amount of time. The reason of this rule is because in real life, you wouldn't remember who you are. Though since this is a game and you can't delete your memory, It's held down to two minutes. Here are two examples of what NLR is and what it is not:

NLR
Sam kills Noah while raiding him. Noah without waiting out for his NLR timer to finish, rushes back to his base. This is NLR.

NOT NLR
Sam kills Noah while raiding him. Noah comes close to the area he died in but not inside the area. This isn't NLR due to the reason of him not being inside the NLR zone.

Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.

Metagaming is where you say role-play based stuff in out-of-character chat. Here are two examples of what metagaming is and what it is not.

METAGAMING
Bob asks Alex where he is basing and if he wants to raid Sam in Out-Of-Character (OOC) chat.

NOT METAGAMING
After someone private messaged Bob asking if they are going to raid the bank, if Bob replies with this message; "Yes, I will." or "No, I won't", that wouldn't be metagaming. But if he were to reply saying; "Yes I am going to raid the bank" or "No, I am not going to raid the bank", that would be metagaming.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.

First, I would bring both players to a calm place because I know a lot of people think it's funny to interrupt F1 sits. I would then check the logs to see that player y killed player x. I would ask player y if he had any proof. If he has enough evidence, I would leave player x with a warning as big as how much damage he did to the RP of another player. If there is no evidence I wouldn't be able to do anything and end the sit but watch the suspected player for around 5-10 minutes.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.

I would bring both players to a calmer place. After checking the logs to see that the kills are pretty close to each other, I would ask player x if he had any evidence. If he has evidence, I would leave player y with a verbal warning if he has no recent warnings, if he has a recent warning I would warn him. If there is no evidence I would not be able to do much but watch the suspect for 5-10 minutes after the sit.

Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided

I would first TP to him to make sure that he is listening to me, then tell him that what he did is meta-gaming and that it's not allowed. Since people that meta-game are most likely new, I would explain what meta-gaming is to the person. Then I would leave him off with a simple verbal warning.

Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).

I should be chosen because legit my warning sheet is cleaner than Coutinroy's. Seriously though, I haven't broken any rules since 2015 where I first joined ZARP. If you look at my warning sheet I will have a mute from 1-2 months ago, though that was from an abusive moderator that got demoted soon after. I don't look for power in ranks, I look to stop rulebreaking. I know it sounds simple but It's the truth. I want to help the SSRP servers. I'm active, helpful & friendly. I have been helpful to new players and veteran players of ZARP a bunch of times. That is why I believe that I should be chosen. Thank you for reading my moderator application.
