Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.
My time as moderator has really helped me understand current situations on the server, which are very different from when I was previously in Lead Team. As a moderator, I've definitely come to understand the server rules to an expectation of high level of knowledge, I have delivered high quality service on all F1s and when actively on the server whilst many players I deal with just ask questions without making them official F1s. Whilst being a moderator I have learnt to deal with all forms of players, ranging from players with completely different languages to players with short tempers. This experience has been much different from when I was previously staff. However, it has helped by kick starting me back into the state of mind a ZARP staff member needs. Overall I have enjoyed the experience of being a mod, however now I believe it's time to work my way up as I feel that I have so much more potential to offer to the ZARP Gaming community.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).
I've had many situations where administrator powers would have made dealing with mass rule breakers much easier. I've had to deal with many trolls on the server that have attempted to crash or interfere with server performance. I proceed to freeze and utilise the powers I have as a Moderator, however I must seek the powers of another Admin online to ban. Players like this leave to avoid punishment and just return later on, these situations would be dealt with quicker and first time as an Admin.
If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
Hey, I'm Elemental, First of all I would like to congratulate you on being accepted and I wish you the best on your new role with ZARP. So lets begin. Firstly, I want you to go onto the tab menu, you will see the player list. However, if you click on a name you will now see many new options:
Kick – This is a command that is not used that much but it becomes useful if someone Dosen’t want to delete props when there are no admins on or if someone is trying to crash the server and you cant ban them. This command can also be typed out in chat like this: /kick (player name / SteamID)
Unban from job – This is used to unban people from job roles. This is useful if someone has been banned from a job for a false reason.
Freeze – This one is handy when dealing with an F1. Sometimes players may be ignorant or attempt to run away. This will freeze them so they are unable to move. This command can also be typed out like so: /freeze (player name / SteamID) just don’t forget to unfreeze them by clicking unfreeze on the tab menu or typing: /unfreeze (player name / SteamID).
Slay - This one is not commonly used, it kills players upon command. It can also be typed out like this: /slay (player name / SteamID)
Teleport - This command teleports the player you clicked on to where ever your crosshair is looking. This can also be used to teleport yourself by just typing: /tp. This can be binded to a key if you wish, just open up the console and type bind "key" "say /tp". This allows you to teleport yourself whenever you press the key you have chosen. This command is good to use when you need to get on top of a building to do a F1. You can tp someone to your cursor using /tp (player name / SteamID).
Goto – This command is very handy and you will use it with almost every F1. It allows you to teleport to people. This mainly used when answering an F1, by going to the player to check if they are free to go up onto a roof for the F1. Just teleporting the person who made the F1 to a roof without checking if he is ready is not recommended as they could be defending a base or raiding so you should always go to them first. You can also goto someone using: /goto (player name / SteamID)
Bring – This will bring the player close to you. They will be brought within arms length, so have a look around if they do not show in front of you. You can bring players to you using: /bring (player name / SteamID)
Back - This command is used to send players back to their previous position, it can also be typed using this: /back (player name / SteamID). Obviously selecting back, then back-spawn will send them to spawn. This can be typed like this: /backspawn (player name / SteamID)
F1s - Now the F1 system. This system you will get to know by using it everyday. Players will make an F1 report and at the bottom left of the screen it will say if there are any unhandled F1s. If it says "X Unhandled F1s" then press F1 and it will show all of the reports that players have made. Click on the F1 (usually the top prioty one) and it will show a couple of options:
Handle this. This will allow you to handle the situation and make it yours. This will now unlock more options which are specified above: Bring, Goto etc. After you have finished handling the situation you can click mark as finished.
Mark as spam/abuse – This is useful if someone has made an F1 like “Nevermind sorted it now” or "Please ignore".
F6 Menu - This is used to access all of a players punishment history, warnings, mutes, bans etc. This is useful when deciding a punishment for a player.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
Hey Player x! I've taken time to read your ban appeal, I was the admin that had banned you for propspam and you have to understand that we take any rule break very seriously at this community, as your actions also effect other players experience with us. You seem very remorseful for your actions and due to this being your first ban, I have decided to give you a second chance. Please follow the server rules.

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 150 words).
I believe that I should be accepted as an Administrator as the staff team could largely benefit from my expertise and experience in Administrating their servers. I am very passionate about helping others and making sure staff are doing their job roles correctly. I feel confident in any situation thrown my way, however I can deal with many situations much more beneficially and less time consuming as an Admin. I am reliable and trustworthy as I have previously been part of the Head Admin team. I know that many current staff at ZARP were not here when I was in Lead Team, however I can ensure you I lived up to everyone's expectations and provided the high quality service I will continue to offer today. As you all know, I am very mature and true to my word. ZARP is, and always has been a passion for me, I only wish to help improve the community that we are all part of. Thank you for taking your time to read through my application, I look forward to hearing from you.
