Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
The Rule "Random Death Match" Is A Situation where a player kills another player for no valid reason at all. An Example of this would be
Player X kills
Player Y because
player Y did not drop
Player X A weapon that he wanted.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:
"New Life Rule" is a rule which means a player cannot return to the district they last died at for 3 minutes, and they also forget everything that had happened to them in their past life. This therefore means that a player cannot be arrested or killed for something that happened in a past life, neither can a player kill another player for something that happens in a past life. An Example of "New Life Rule" Would be
Player X Kills
Player Y In a secluded location because
Player X Mugged
Player Y And he failed to produce the money within the time.
Player Y Would then come back to
Player X, And kill him before the 3 minute NLR is over, because of what happened in a past life.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x:
I e would first TP the victim player to a roof, to avoid anyone else getting involved in the sit. I would then ask player x exactly what happened, and why did player y says he killed him. I would then get player y on to the roof as well, and ask him why he killed player x, so that i also have his side of what happened. Then, if player y tells me a valid reason why he killed him, unless player x has valid evidence, i will tell player x that he should try to get evidence next time, then tp both players back to their original position. If player y has no reason to kill player x, and player x had evidence (Screenshots, recordings), i would warn player y for RDM, then i would send them back to their original position, while clearly stating to player y the exact rule that he broke, and that he should not do it again.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time:
I would bring both players to a roof, and let the players know that NLR still applies, weather you were RDM'ed or not. I would then ask player y where he was killed. If it was in spawn, i would tp both players back and let them know that there is nothing i can do about it without any evidence. I would again tell them that they should try to get some evidence when people break rules. If player y told me that it was not in spawn, then i would ask player x if there is any proof he can show me that player y broke NLR.
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Basically Metagaming means that you're abusing the OOC to hand out IC information. This is to prevent people from abusing the OOC. IC means In character and OOC means out of character.
Example scenario:
"HELP! This thief is trying to mug me! "
This is called Metagaming. As if you get mugged in real life, you can't use a chat to tell people that you're getting mugged!
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
Everyone makes mistakes, that's why I will go to him and tell explain him what he did wrong. I would tell him that he gave IC information in the OOC information. Then I would tell him to read /rules. If he still doesn't understand, I would tell him in detail.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words).
I should be chosen for DarkRP moderator because of the following:
I am a person who literally knows the rules by my head. That's because I would like to learn about the mistakes I make ( either in real life or in ZARP Gaming! ) I am a very patient person who can literally wait hours to get an answer ( even if it is a rhetorical question). I like doing F1's, that's why Bob Raheem always likes to TP me to the Sit, so I can learn how it feels to be a moderator. I am a very respectful person. It doesn't matter in what position I am, I will never ever ever disrespect a user. I'd prefer to do F1's over roleplay. Of course I will still roleplay, but the F1's will ALWAYS stay my number 1 priority! I hope that I have made clear why I should be accepted as a ZARP moderator application.
