Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario. Explanation: RDM, otherwise known as Random Death Match is when player X kills player Y without having a valid RP reason to do so. Could expand on definition, you don't have to just kill someone for it to be RDM, shooting someone for no reason is also RDM. JarredInator wrote: Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario. Explanation: Someone ''metagames'' whenever he/she tries to obtain In Character information by using Out Of Character chat. Could also expand on this, it can go vice-versa. If he is clear I would teleport back and continue on with my business. If I see him metagame once again in a short period of time I will teleport to him again, take him to a roof, tell him that I just told him that he was metagaming and needed to cut it out and warn him for metagaming. If he understands it I'll teleport us back and I will continue on with my business. If I see him metagame again in X number of minutes I will ask a higher up staff to ban him for continuously metagaming after being told to stop. Never TP them, it ruins his Role-Play completely. A simple warning through OOC to stop metagaming or through PM works. JarredInator wrote: Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words). I'm very positive and polite aswell, you wont see me shout or insult anyone ever in OOC. I'm calm, professional and I don't see doing F1's is annoying or exacting. I've been a staff member before and I enjoyed my time being one and hopefully I can continue that with this moderator application. I understand what I have to do and what not to do. Yes, I do have 1 or 2 recent warnings. That's because I had to get into the game and get to know it again. I understand it now and I will play and potentially administrate to my fullest extent. So you're applying, and you haven't had to time to know the rules again? Warnings aside you've also got a recent ban. In my opinion you should wait two weeks to get a better hold of the rules. ![]() RDM, Random DEATH match. If the person doesn't die there is no DEATH in the random DEATH match. Attempted RDM is a whole different subject and hasn't been asked in the question Vice versa? So obtaining OOC information by IC is not allowed? But what is the point of using IC to get OOC information if you can just use OOC and cut the IC part? I see you edited it, new response If they're meta gaming aren't they ruining allot more people's RP? As I want to prevent it as quick as possible I'll just TP to them as the OOC is sometimes forgotten/ignored |

Thanks for applying for staff at ZARP DarkRp! During our weekly staff meeting your application, question answers, game trackers and in-game warnings are checked and then the staff team votes on your application. This time, the staff team have decided that you still need to work on your application and then apply again next week. To try and help you they have summarised some positives & negatives discussed during the meeting: Recent warnings, recent ban, needs to improve general attitude on ZARP. You can apply again at any time, and thanks for supporting ZARP! |
