using "U" in a sentence is called Texting Slang, It is very informal and unprofessional and I think im not the only one who finds it not suitable for an application. But in all fairness i don't see how it makes someone Immature...

There's a lot of people who use informal language on these forums, and I'm definitely not surprised. You guys should be aware of this, and I'm sure a lot of you are a part of this group. Whether or not you use "u" over "you", I don't think it's a big deal to other phrases/terms people use. A lot of people have their own way of writing. Whether it's professional or not, I don't think that is worth a -support. Unfortunately, there are a lot of unprofessional people in the current staff team, but then again... we're talking about a server on Garry's Mod.

Not typing properly, may not mean much to you but it means a lot to me. Like if a staff member couldn't type good (Not talking about grammar, Talking about spelling mistakes) then I would think he just doesn't care about the server if he's just plain lazy to type properly.

Nobody is going to do that unless they're really bad at spelling. Substituting "you" with "u" is much more common, plus what you just said makes no sense at all, and on top of that you're comparing a word to a whole sentence.

Although, I have to agree that you're being extremely lazy if you can't add 2 letters to a word, especially if you're on the computer with a keyboard.

Now.. if you're using a phone, I might say this is a whole different story.

Thanks for applying for staff at ZARP DarkRp! During our weekly staff meeting your application, question answers, game trackers and in-game warnings are checked and then the staff team votes on your application.

This time, the staff team have decided that you still need to work on your application and then apply again next week. To try and help you they have summarised some positives & negatives discussed during the meeting:
