Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario.
Random Death Match or 'RDM' is the term that is used when someone gets killed without a valid RP reason.
<-- Good explanation
Scenarios
1. Eric asks John for a ride in his new car, John jumps out of his new car and shoots Eric, this would be Random Death Match.
2. Toby is trigger happy, so he decides to go and kill Dave, this would be Random Death Match.
3. Steve is speaking to the banker, then Clive comes up to Steve and shoots him, this would be Random Death Match.
<-- Good examples
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario.
New Life Rule or 'NLR' is term used when someone returns back to the same area before the 3 minute timer runs out.
<-- Keep in mind, NLR does not only reffer to positioning, it also reffers to people from your past life.
Scenarios
1. John and Steve are printing money inside a building in the industrial area, then someone RPG's their base causing John to die, John then re spawns an tries to kill the raider, this would be breaking New Life Rule.
2. Eric and Clive start to raid a base, they manage to kill most of the defenders but one of the defenders kill them both, because they know that there is only one person left inside the base, they decide to return and try and kill the last defender, this would be breaking New Life Rule.
3. Okor the Mutant runs out of the tunnels and tries to kill one of the CP's nearby, he fails and is then killed by the CP, he then tries to kill the CP again, this would be breaking New Life Rule.
<-- Good examples
Explain "Metagaming" and give an example scenario.
Metagaming is the term used when someone is using Out-Of-Character information to gain a advantage In-Character, or if they are communicating via a 3rd party application.
<-- Third parties don't apply to SSRP as the meta rule isn't as serious as on PERP. Metagaming is also giving IC info in OOC
Scenarios
1. John and Eric are growing in the building opposite PD, John leaves to visit the Drug Dealer, Eric hears a RPG hit their base, he then starts yelling to John via teamspeak that their base is being raided, so then John rushes back, this is Metagaming.
2. Steve has purchased a new car, John says down skype 'come and pick me up', Steve then goes and picks John up, this is Metagaming.
3. Toby has a supercharged uranuim, he then says in OOC chat, 'Selling Super Charged Uranuim'. This would be
<-- First 2 examples would be good if this was PERP, 3rd example is good.Metagaming.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would first ask Player Y why he did kill Player X , I would also then ask Player X why did Player Y kill him, if their stories don't match I would then warn Player Y for RDM unless he could provide sufficient evidence towards him having a good RP reason to kill Player X, I would also then ask Player X does he need anything else, If he doesn't I would then return both of them.
<-- You're doing it the other way around. You ask player Y why'd he kill him. If he fails to give a vaild reason, then warn him for RDM. If he gives a valid reason, you ask player X for proof, not player Y.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would first of all check the times of the two killings, if they were under the 3 minute mark, I would then continue on to deal with the situation, I would start of by asking Player X for his side of the story, I would then ask Player Y for his side of the story, I would then ask Player Y is he familiar with the New Life Rule, If he is not I would explain to him, and then I would also ask him to re-read the rules, so he he is familiar with them, If he is familiar with the rule I would warn him for breaking New Life Rule. If Player Y could provide sufficient evidence to him not breaking New Life Rule(Maybe with a Video or Images) I would then remove the warning. I would then ask Player X does he need help with anything else, If he doesn't I would then return both of them.
<-- Not really bad, but keep in mind the different scenarios such as spawn-killing.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x calls for help in the OOC chat because his bank is being raided
I would say in the OOC chat, 'Player X please do not call for help via OOC, as this is metagaming.' If he proceeds to keep asking for help via OOC I would then give him a warning for metagaming.
<-- Good handling
Conclusion
There is still room for improvement, but I notice you've improved a fair amount since the last time you got denied. Your gametime is good, so is your activity. Your application has some flaws which I've pointed out, but it's fairly good and easy to read.
