How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
Throughout my 3 stints of being staff on TTT, I have shown great dedication towards the server, always keeping high activity and a good report count. I have helped out on and off the server when it comes to staffing, wherever it be suggestions or appeals.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want):
Dedication to the server
As previously stated I have shown great dedication towards the server throughout 3 different times as Staff where I managed to always reach my activity and report count without problem, I try to go above and beyond what is expected of a admin by giving out suggestions on how to improve the server whenever it be about rules, maps, weapon changes. I offer to help out with testing but they don’t want me (
) I have handled several appeals to a suitable standard (we don’t talk about that insanity one) As for training although I haven’t got to train anyone on TTT, I have trained people on deathrun and shown that I am capable of training (¾ have become LT or above
)
Forums and teamspeak activity
For the forums I am very active and have a high post count for the short time I’ve been around. I refresh the forums several times per day to see if there are any new applicants that are interesting or to see if there are any appeals that need to be handled. As for teamspeak, as of late it’s not been as good as I just hang around in random discord calls but I have proven that I can get good activity on TeamSpeak.
Experience
Omg I can finally write an experience part, So as previously stated I was SA on deathrun and that has helped me gain an understanding of what is expected of LT and the many new responsibilities that come with the role. As for handling my duties I always made sure to complete them and even helped out others with their roles (I.E stole rules every week)
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
I’m just going to repeat the hacker story as always. So when on the server (I think I was mod at the time) there was a hacker that joined the server and so I wanted a member of LT to screen grab them to see if they were cheating or not so I requested a member of LT to join the server. However, if the case here was that the LT member didn’t come on I would have recorded the supposed hacking, then left the video evidence in the ‘Hacker reports’ section in the staff discord.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
I would start off by leaving a comment saying ‘handling’ to let fellow staff know that I am dealing with the report, I would then read through the report and see if the user has submitted any evidence of the report. I would talk with both the user and the staff member to try and get the best understanding of the situation to deal with it correctly.
In the case of the user submitting sufficient evidence of the staff abusing I would leave this comment
Hello user after reviewing the evidence you provided and speaking with the staff member in question, I have decided to accept this report on the staff based on the fact that you provided sufficient evidence and they know what they did wrong, I will try my best to ensure that this doesn’t happen again, have a good day
In the case of the user not submitting sufficient evidence/no evidence I would leave this response
Hello after reviewing the evidence you provided, I have decided to deny this request as there is little to no proof of the situation, however I have still spoken to the staff member to ensure that this isn’t the case and that it doesn’t happen, thank you for making this request have a good day
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
I would start by checking the banned players’ F6 and I would look at his punishments and see if they deserved this ban. If not I would confront the staff member and let them know that although we have guidelines for ban lengths, that they are just a suggestion, I would tell the staff member to take into account that if the user has shown that they are trying to change and the reports were just accidents, to not ban them for as long, and to take into account how long ago their previous bans were. Hopefully, this would help the staff member in the future when deciding on ban lengths
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I start by dealing with the user and help them with regards to what they need, after this I would then speak with the staff member and let them know how to deal with the situation accordingly.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
I would first ask the staff member what rules the other staff member is breaking, and see if they have any evidence of the said staff member breaking the rules. If it is confirmed that they are breaking a rule, I would issue a verbal warning to the staff member and let them know that what they did is not allowed and if they continue they could risk a demotion. If there is no evidence I would still have a word with the said staff member and let them know of the potential rule break and make sure that they know that it is wrong.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
Firstly I would make sure that the two staff members stop their bickering, after this, I would pull them aside 1 by 1 and get their side of the story and see what happened, I would then bring them together and make them both apologise, and then deal with the situation accordingly and make sure that they put this aside as its not a good look for staff, and is easily resolved.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
First I would make sure that the staff member stops doing what it is that he is doing, then I would pull him aside and have a chat via discord/ts and make sure that they know what they are doing is wrong and make sure that they do not again. I would make a note of it to fellow staff and keep an eye on them to make sure that they do not continue, if they were to continue then I would bring it up in the LT meeting.
