Why You?:
Availability
I am currently doing school from home, so I if I am chosen for Global Moderator I will be constantly on the lookout for posts that break the TOU, posts that need to be locked, moved, etc. I can always be reached out to on discord (Auzzi#8750), TeamSpeak, and even in game when I am on. I can very easily respond to a contact telling me that a post is breaking TOS, and I will see it myself since I browse the forums so often.
Current Ranks & Dedication
SSRP Super Admin
SSRP Council Member
Minecraft Admin
Discord/TS3 Staff
Appeals & SSRP Section Mod
I have been staff on ZARP for a very long time now, I first applied back 10 months ago and I haven't regretted one bit of it. I then staffed for around 5 months, but I received a demotion and went back to user for a few months. Afterwards, I reapplied near the end of January and have worked my way up to SSRP Super Admin since then. I was also invited to be a part of the SSRP Council, which was an open debate a few months ago, it was about future changes on SSRP. Chute told me that they wanted to start getting in touch with their community more, and I was happy to be invited to it. I was also reached out to by Onion about a month before the MC server launched, and I was asked to be initial staff for it, I was very grateful to have that opportunity. Due to me coming into a LT position I am also Discord/TS3 staff, which I have been active within both parts of that position. Finally, I was lucky enough to be accepted as a section mod into the SSRP and Appeals sections. Throughout my time as a forum staff member I have been consistently checking my email for any new forum reports, checking the discord channel for any topics that need to be moderated or locked, and I have been browsing the forums daily and have been handling my duties accordingly.
Communication & Activity
I have been very active across the ZARP services, (I even bit the bullet and decided to play some pointshop.
) I am active almost every day in TS, and every day of the forums. I have been in TeamSpeak quite frequently to communicate with not just the LT and the CM team, but also other users. I have also been communicating with other staff members about forum related things. For example, Darling has asked me before while I was in TeamSpeak to unlock an appeal so he could overrule it. This kind of situation was handled swiftly due to my efficient level of communication, which I will continue to reflect if I am accepted for Global Moderator.
Trust
I know that when some people hear that I was demoted that makes them doubt me a slight bit, which is understandable; however, I have been trying my best since my return to staff to regain the trust of not just the staff members, but the community as well. After a few months of me returning to staff I have secured a Lead Team position within SSRP. I think that after my demotion I have done a lot to regain my trust within ZARP, allowing me to be trusted with a Global Moderator forum position.
Overview of Global Mod Command Usage
- Ban- As a Global Moderator you gain the ability to ban users, this should be conserved for users who are breaking the TOU after their post is first either edited or removed. I would make sure to ban users for the appropriate amount of time, and I would always make sure that the ban reason is very easy to understand, and if further discussion is needed I can be contacted over Discord, TS, or my Steam.
- Moderating Topics- As a Global Mod I will have the ability to delete, sticky, move, lock, edit, or unlock posts/topics. I would use these commands how I am already using them now, because unlike bans I am already familiar with the usage of these commands.
Final Statements
In conclusion, I believe that I am ready for this position for the following reasons:
- I have been active within the forums and community, in terms of staffing and communicating with other users/staff members.
- I have worked very hard to regain my trust within the community, and I feel I have succeeded.
- I have a unique time zone that would allow me to be moderating the forums when other forum staff members could be either asleep or away from their PC.
- Similar to the above statement, I will continue to be active on the forums and I will be able to consistently complete my forum staffing duties.
- I have been doing a good job as a forum staff member so far, and I am always available to be contacted through multiple methods.
