How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
I've always had a great understanding of the rules and know when to use my powers in certain situations and punish players accordingly, I would say I'm a very unbiased staff member as I don't take sides of my friends and don't have any troubles disagreeing with people if i believe them to be wrong. I've only been a staff member for a short amount of time since I rejoined the server but have already helped the lead team with a lot of situations, leading to players bans and demotions. I believe becoming a part of the SSRP lead team i would be able to help immensely to improve the staff team and quality of staffing seen on the servers. Also having this rank I will continue to do my best to improve everybody's role-play experience with the new commands at my disposal .
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want):
I feel like I am very dedicated to the Zarp servers in a whole not just the SSRP team, this is shown by the previous ranks i held in the community. I've always had a good relationship with Zarp and had it's best interest in mind. I try my hardest everyday to make sure everybody is enjoying their role play experience and try my best to resolve all their issues.
I also believe I am a good candidate because I've already proven I'm trusted with lead team powers and don't crumble under pressure of higher ranks. I truly believe becoming member of the lead team again I will be able to have a big impact on improving the servers.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
The other day, I found a player who i suspected of cheating on the servers and had to report it to a lead team member, after doing some research we found out that said player was ban evading on an alternate account and cheating, if i had access to the tools I could of efficiently dealt with this situation myself without the help of a lead team member.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
I would take a in depth look at the thread the user has created and see what evidence that the user has posted, if he hasn't posted sufficient evidence for any action to come to the staff member i would leave a comment asking him to post some evidence and leave a link to my steam profile to ask him to contact me privately about the matter. After the evidence has been shown to me I would contact the admin in question and see what their story is, if the admin in question didn't have any warnings before i would give tell him what he did wrong and explain to him why its wrong and ask him not to do it again. I would relay all the information back to the rest of the lead team in the meeting, If this user did have recent reports being accepted of abuse then I would give him an official warning, depending on how severe the rule break was.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
I first start off by seeing if the ban was a 1 time thing of if he is banning everybody for excessive amounts of time, after I've done this I would approach the admin and ask why he's banned the user for so long, If after he explains the full story to me if i agreed with his punishment after knowing the details I wouldn't take it any further, but if the punishment was too harsh and unjustified I would remind him of the staff ethos and ask him not to be so ban heavy on users for rule breaks, I would then monitor the users punishments to see if he has listen to what I've told him.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I would kindly teleport to the admin and ask what the problem is, I would then remind both parties of the rule making sure they both understand what is it that's wrong to ensure it doesn't happen again, after the problem was resolved I would leave the admin to finish his/her sit but continue to spectate it to ensure there are no further problems.
If the sit became out of control and the admin in question was arguing or shouting at the user I would teleport to the admin and take control of the sit, after i finished the sit I would remind the admin to have a calm temper while dealing with users and try not to shout or insult the users. Then I would monitor the admin to see if he continued to have problems, if the problem persists I would report it back to the lead team.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
I would ask the staff member who is reporting the other staff member if they had any proof, if they didn't I would still ask what it was that the admin was doing and after he provided me with this information I would ask the admin being accused If he was breaking rules and try to make him admit to it, If proof was provided I would contact the admin in question and ask him why he was breaking said rule and tell him that he should know better than to break rules as an admin, depending on how severe the rule break was or if it was intentional I would bring him up in the meeting for a warning or demotion depending on the admins history.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
I would ask both the staff members to join teamspeak and see if they can resolve their issues, If they couldn't resolve their issues I would remind them that their personal issues shouldn't effect the way they staff the server and ask them to put their issues aside to get the best out of our staff team, If they continued to argue and it was effecting the server and users then I would bring them up in the meeting for a demotion and tell them if it continues there will be consequences.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
I would take the staff member away from the situation he is in and take him to a roof, I would then explain to him what rule he was breaking and how its effecting the user and how abusing your powers/breaking rules can ruin peoples role-play experiences I would then tell the user that I will be bringing the issue up in the upcoming lead team meeting and decide what happens there.
Thank you for reading through my application any feedback would be appreciated so I can improve as a staff member, please make sure it's constructive!
