I'd be being disingenuous if I didn't post this but I think you need rethink your strategy on being helpful especially considering the bad attitude I got from you yesterday.
I understand you are keen to become a part of the lead team for SSRP, but your approach to 'helping' (if you could call it that) other staff is inefficient and often involves you stepping on other people's toes which is the exact opposite of what anybody should be doing in a
team.
After what happened yesterday I decided to chat with the lead team myself on this incase it was a one off or whether or not it was a recurring pattern, lo and behold it was the latter. After borderline hijacking a situation I was in control of, then to paste warn command, steam ID and reason in admin chat followed by "there, you're welcome" is just patronising and makes you come across as egotistical. If I wasn't capable of handling situations on my own, I wouldn't be in the staff team let alone admin. I know how to do my job and in my opinion I do it fairly well, considering I'm not the only person who would've handled the situation in the exact same manner if not a similar way to the way I handled it there and then.
I could go on about this indefinitely but I think you still need to work on some key areas such as:
- Your approach to helping other staff, don't take control of their situations, if someone is blatantly making mistakes and seems unaware you should explain to them in depth what they are doing wrong rather than just telling them what to do; people don't learn if you bark orders at them
- Your teamwork ethic, if someone doesn't ask for help and doesn't need it, don't give it to them. Chances are they are doing fine and you'll just end up stepping on their toes like you did me. There's nothing wrong with asking "hey, need a hand with X, Y, Z" rather than diving in and breaking the flow that has been established by the already-handling mod/admin
- Your attitude, even though you are approachable in teamspeak, I feel that you act completely different in-game and unfortunately that's the side that is more 'front-facing' to the community and what the community is more likely to see
