Hello John first of all i would like to congratulate you on getting accepted to join the Zarp staff team!
I am here to train you and will be teaching you everything you need to know when becoming a SSRP Moderator!
First, when being a moderator you must follow the Staff Ethos which can be found here:
zarpgaming.com/index.php/forum/general-d...335-zarp-staff-ethos
This is basically telling you how to behave as a member of the staff team. Going over it quickly so you can read it afterwards its telling you to stay calm through whatever happens don’t disrespect a player if you are getting disrespected. It’s also stating how you should behave as a staff member and some smaller added stuff.
Also, as becoming a moderator which means you can take part of the meetings. The meetings are scheduled every Saturday at 7PM GMT. If for some reason you cannot take part in the meeting it is advised that you tell this before the meeting.
Now getting to DarkRp
There are not a lot but some commands you have as a moderator which I will be going over.
Before I tell you the commands
ALWAYS and
ALWAYS use a player’s steam-id instead of their names because accident can happen, and you can warn the wrong person which can lead to you getting spoken to.
The first thing I will be going over are your visual menu's
When pressing f1 now you will see something else than usual. In this menu you can see f1's that are being made and you can see the logs and active nlr. When looking at the logs its advised you put the steamid because that makes everything more helpful. The f1 menu shows f1's being made by other players that are in need of help by a staff member. f1's are a
PRIORITY Also don’t skip hard f1's to do easy ones there is a timer showing how long a player is waiting to get helped don’t let them wait for long.
The 2nd menu is the f6 menu also known as the Rap sheet menu. Here you can find a player's rap sheet. If the player is not on you can click to search name and scroll down and press the Search option and insert the steamid.
Those are for the visual menus. Now for your special job you unlock
If you press f4 and go to jobs and scroll down you can pick the MOD on duty job. When being this job you
CAN NOT roleplay in any sort of way so no advert selling and such. Also you are not allowed to put on a suit as that would make it so other people would not recognize you.
The first commands I will be going over are the TP commands
When you want to go to a player you can do /goto (Steam id) This command can be used to go to people that are in need of help or asking people for their availability for an f1.
The second command is just the plain /tp command.
If you have not entered a steam id it will to you to your crosshair. This command can be used to teleport onto rooftops to handle sits or get you out of positions if you were to be stuck. When entering a steamid after /tp you will teleport a player to your crosshair.
The 3rd command is /bring
This command is used to bring people to yourself or to other people. So if you would want to bring a person you can do /bring steam-ID. This will bring the player to you. If a player has died and is not respawning you can bring them and it will tp them to you and respawn them.
The 4th command is /back.
/back can be used to return yourself or another player to their last location. when you want to return yourself you can just do /back. When returning a player you can do /back (steam-id) and it will return that player to their last location. Also if you do /backspawn it will return you or another player to spawn.
All these commands can be reached easily when you press the tab menu and click their name you can see widgets for these commands which can be easier but it’s up to personal preference.
Now getting into other commands.
Kick
The kick is used to kick players out of the server. This should only be used when a player is prop blocking and is refusing to remove the prop block and or is prop spamming when there is no higher up to handle with them.
Unban from job
This command is not used anymore as we had a system where you could demote people from their job but this got removed. So only if an admin+ bans someone from a job can this command be used. Don’t use it without asking the admin that banned the person from their job.
/Mutechat
This command is used to mute players from using the chat if they are disrespecting in chat. You can decide the length of the mute but don't be too harsh
/Freeze
Freeze is used to freeze people in their place so if there is someone that’s mass rdming its advised to freeze them after bringing because he can rdm in the sit which just takes time.
/Slay
Slay is a command used to slay a certain person if they are misbehaving and not wanting to listen. Don’t just do this for the fun as it does appear on your rap sheet. Slays can be used when there is someone for example mass rdming in spawn with a gluon you can than proceed to slay that person.
/Mute Globally
This command is used to mute a certain player form using voice chat this can be used when a player is mic spamming or is being racist through the mic.
Like Tping all of these commands can be found in the tab menu when clicking on a person
That is all you need to know for now if you have any other questions fell free to ask me them!
