Estimated Server Time: Taking into account the fact that I've been a part of Zarp for roughly 3 years, I'd estimate anywhere from ~400 to ~500. Which is at the very least half of my total time playing Garry's Mod.

Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
Random Death Match is when a player kills another player without a valid roleplaying reason.
For instance, Camilla is a hitman and wants to kill someone. She sees Diggles walking peacefully on the street and decides that he is a suitable target. She pulls out a weapon and proceeds to kill Diggles. However, Diggles did not have a hit, nor did Camila have any other valid reason to kill him. Camila has now committed an act of Random Death Match.
Camila could have avoided this by following the rules and killed someone for a valid roleplaying reason, like for example killing a person with a hit and not a random person on the street.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:
New Life Rule is quite self-explanatory. The New Life Rule (NLR) is a rule put in place to prevent people from going back to their previous death point(s)
[1] in order to give the effect of a "new life" (Hence its name). This is a rule that mainly pushes the realism in DarkRP. If you were to die in real life, you would not be able to return to your death point, and so it makes sense to prevent players from doing that in-game within a period of time.
An example of a breach of NLR: Ronny is a cop and is looking for wanted criminals. Ronny succeeds in finding a wanted criminal, but in the process of trying to arrest the criminal, Ronny dies. The criminal is still out there, so Ronny goes back to his death point
[2] to arrest the criminal. Ronny has just breached NLR.
Ronny could have avoided this by waiting until his NLR timer has run out.
[1] Death point includes being in the same district/area/location.
[2] Before his NLR timer has run out.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
Firstly, I'd teleport to Player X and move him to an isolated location. I'd then ask him a few questions about the incident and tell him to wait for me to get the accused (Player Y). I'll question Player Y privately in the same manner as I did to Player X before I teleport Player Y to the same location as Player X. Then, firstly, I'd ask both players if they have proof of the incident. (Screenshots, video recordings, etc). If one of them does have proof and it validifies their claim(s), I'll warn the other player for RDM.
However, if neither of them provides proof, I'll dig a little more and check damage logs to see if Player Y acted in self-defence or not. If the logs reveal there was damage dealt to Player Y prior to Player X's death, I'll know it was an act of self-defence. This doesn't necessarily make Player X the villain, as he could have had an RP reason for harming Player Y. So I'll ask Player X what his reason for damaging Player Y was. If it turns out that Player X attacked Player Y for a valid reason (and Player Y agrees and/or understands), it'd mean that nobody would be punished. However I would have to inform Player X about the definition of RDM so he doesn't make any future claims of RDM that turn out to be false.
If no damage was dealt to Player Y, I'd have to question him about his reasons for killing Player X. If both players can get to a compromise or an agreement as to whether or not it was RDM I will not punish either player. If Player X does not agree with Player Y, I will have to determine whether or not the scenario could be described as RDM, and if I conclude that it is, I will warn Player Y for RDM.
Note that in most cases it will not be easy, if not impossible, to determine if it is RDM based only on logs, as one of the players could be lying, hence the need/preference for evidence in most cases.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
First, I'd do the usual routine (Teleport to the player who made the F1, in this case, Player X and question him. Then go to Player Y and question him etc. - Roughly the same routine as in the RDM case). Then I'd bring both players together and start discussing what happened and both sides of the story. Both kills could have been close together yet still have taken place at different locations. For example, one of the kills could have occurred in the bank district, and the second kill could've occurred in the park district. Therefore it's hard to conclude whether or not NLR was committed purely based on the logs. And so I'll be looking to see if their stories add up or not; If they do, and it is revealed that Player Y did break NLR, I'll give Player Y a warning for breaking NLR. However, if they add up but it turns out Player X was mistaken, none will be punished.
If their stories do not add up, but both parties make valid arguments (Player Y states that he was killed in different districts, Player X argues that he was in fact in the same district both times) there's no real way of determining if Player Y broke NLR or not. Therefore, neither will be punished, but I will give Player Y a verbal warning to ensure that if he did do it, he won't do it in the future.
Why I should be chosen(we recommend around 150 words): Starting off basic, I have no recent warns/bans/kicks and I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) I have never been banned in the entirety of playing on this server for three years. And, obviously, you want a staff member that can consistently follow the rules, and I suppose I fit that criterion quite well.
I have a lot of time on my hands as well, I have hours of free time that I can spend doing F1s or other things to contribute to the Zarp servers, and honestly, I even see myself being more active if I become a moderator.
I'm very much a perfectionist, so I'll always make sure to do my best, if not I'll do even better to make up for it. Additionally, I'm very dedicated to the things I do. I have had previous positions on other Garry's Mod servers in which the lead staff were extremely happy with my dedication and work. Although those servers weren't exclusively DarkRP it still goes to show my dedication as a staff member. And so, I think I'd be a fairly great moderator, and I think I can contribute a lot to making the SSRP servers a better place.
