Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario: RDM (Random Death Match) is where you kill someone without reasoning, if you do not have a valid reason for why you have killed someone, then it is considered RDM.
Give three examples of an acceptable KOS and its scenario:
- Player Z (
Innocent) sees Player X (
Innocent) walk by 2 Un-Identified Bodies and not Identify them. Player Z then calles a KOS on Player X. This is valid because walking past Un-Identified Bodies/C4 is Traitorous, this applies to all roles apart from if Player X is a Detective, due to him already being "proven".
- Player Y (
Traitor) is Magneto Sticking the Gold Block in ttt_minecraft_b5, he is refusing to take the golden block to the tester after 2 chat warnings clearly stating the reason for warnings, Player Z (
Innocent) then KOS' him after continuing to disobey due to it being traitorous. This does not apply to Detectives.
- Player X (
Innocent) shouts "I'm a Traitor" and then says "Just Kidding...", Player Y (
Innocent) KOS' him and he is an Innocent. This is valid. Now Player Z (
Detective) KOS' Player Y for killing an Innocent. This is also a valid KOS.
Give two examples of unacceptable KOS and their scenarios:
- Player Z (
Traitor) is in a gunfight with Player X (
Innocent) and they repeatedly shoot each other, Player Y (
Innocent) doesn't have information that either of them is proven, KOSing either parties is invalid due to lack of valid proof of them being "proven". Only unless you have seen that one party is Innocent, you may shoot the opposite side. Yet again this doesn't apply if Player X or Y is Detective because he is proven, you may then shoot the opposing party.
- Player Z (
Innocent) types "Lifecheck - Respond or KOS" in chat. Player X (
Traitor) does not respond in the 20 second response time and is therefore KOS'd by Player Y (
Innocent) who saw him hiding. This KOS is invalid due to Player Z not being a Detective, only Detectives can call Lifechecks, and therefore Player Y's KOS is invalid.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 100 words): Firstly, the reason behind my application is that I find satisfaction out of helping others, I enjoy offering help and always try my best to help said person. I also believe I am very articulate and good at explaining, I can clearly offer help, solutions and reasons. I am well known in the TTT community and over the past week I have gained a lot of experience of the rules, players and other Staff, despite this I will always stay neutral before and after reports, I am not a biased person and will tell people their rights and wrongs if in a report scenario. I am friendly to all and typically communicate frequently to other players and joke to others to make mine and their experience more fun and welcoming. I hope after reading you can understand why I would like to apply and I hope you can take me on as a member of Staff, I look forward to see your responses!
EXTRA:
I am applying early considering two weeks from when I started playing, it's my birthday! I have decided that applying early and continuously playing is the best way to go. The next TTT Meeting is August 12th (Sunday) so my two weeks will be over and I will have plenty of time to gain hours and experience. I have played the majority of days for 4-7 hours daily and I will continue this whether or not I get staff, the server is amazing and I enjoy the community here. So thank you for providing or being a part of it.
TLDR:
Overall I believe I could be a suitable, I am very active in early mornings and most of the day, I am mature, I am well known in the TTT community and I most of all love to help others and new players so they can understand what to do.
Pros:
- Mature
- Friendly, Welcoming and Helpful
- Neutral and Non-Biased
- Well-Known with Community and Rules
- Enjoy helping and talking to the players
Cons:
- Low Overall Hour Count
- Lack of Language Diversity
