I know nothing I do or say will change your mind but think really hard about whether or not you actually want this position, especially in the current state of the server my guy.
My man, I'm down for any conversation, I don't see why shouldn't go for SA, if you could enlighten me my dude?
I'll try to get my point across without throwing any shade, many people here are saying you're one of the best, but based on what I've seen on the server, you're the only staff member, which isn't a bad thing, I still think you're the best admin SSRP has seen in a while, you obviously care, and that's something that the server needs, I don't see any other staff member, lead team included, putting in a quarter of the effort you've already put in, which is already great in itself.
Which means, do you really want this position? You'll either stay a good staff member but get completely stressed out of your mind once you realize that not a lot of people care about this server anymore, and you're basically a one man army, or you'll just drop the ball because you already got Super Admin, ultimately ruining the reputation you've spent building up as an Admin.
Then again, I'm a wise ass that's full of shit, wouldn't be mad at all if you proved me wrong, but I say put that motivation and effort into something that can benefit you in the future, while you still have it at least.
I would like to (administratively) share something regarding this issue that Blocked raises, as there is definite truth to these words. I'll disregard the comments regarding the server's dying breaths. It's been shown that a lot of people joined the server once we got an actual event going - I'm definitely sure that the server will become active and alive again once an update arrives. Of course we'll have to see for how long that will last, but I am fairly sure it will be for long enough that Dankek, or anyone trying to dedicate a lot of time to the server, would not be a "one-man-army" like you so say.
Regardless it's the last comment that bothers me. In part, it's true: there's a lot of other stuff that someone could be doing with their lives that might be more useful than putting countless hours into trying to save the sinking Titanic. Especially someone in their late teens, that has an entire future ahead of them and a lot that they could be spending their time on.
As much as there are other possible things anyone could be doing with their lives, that does not immediately mean that this is completely useless either. Regardless of how stupid it might sound, this sort of stuff really does go extremely well on your job resume, especially Lead Team positions and higher. Managing entire servers and even managingn the staff teams managing those servers proves invalluable experience that could really assist you later on in your life.
Whether or not it proves itself worth everything you're putting into it is up to you.
