Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario: Random Death Match long for RDM is when you kill someone in game with no valid role play reason.
Ex. Player X loses a coinflip to Player Y, Player X is really angry and kills player Y having no valid RP reason, Player X has just RDM'd player Y because there was no reason Player Y should've been killed.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario: New life rule aka NLR is going back to the same district you had previously died in before your 3 minute timer is up. Your timer starts as soon as you die.
Ex. Player X is raiding PD and is killed by Player Y, Player X breaks NLR returning to PD before his 3 minute timer is up, player X has not been defibed or used a tactical insertion, therefore he is breaking NLR or new life rule.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x. So first I would handle the f1 using the admin menu and teleport to player x. I would ask him if he needs any help and he replies yes. Then I would bring player X to a nearby roof top and ask him what he needs help with. Player X says player Y rdm'd him. I would then go into logs and get the log of player Y rdming him and put it into chat asking if it was the person in the log I put in chat. if it was I would teleport to them. I would teleport to player Y and ask if he can be teleported for the sit. then after that I would bring him to the sit and get both sides of their stories. If player Y said he killed player x for a valid reason I would ask player x if he had any valid proof. if player x had no proof theres not much that could be done if player y claimed it was a valid reason and the reason he said was valid. If player y owned up to rdming him I would give him the proper punishment. If there was proof of player y rdming player x I would hand out the proper punishment to player y
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time. I would handle the situation by starting the sit by teleporting to player x, then I would ask him what the problem was and player x would tell me it was that player y broke nlr to kill him. I would look at the logs then get player Y's steam id and go to him and ask him if he can come to the sit after previously taking player x to a roof. If he says yes I would bring him, if hes in the middle of rp I would let him finish up and then bring him once hes out of rp. After both players are in the sit I would get both sides of the story. After hearing both sides i would look at the server logs. If it shows player Y was killed by player X and player Y went back to the same area he died within 3 minutes not being defibed or using a tac and kills player X and it says he had nlr I would warn Player Y for nlr. If the situations different like if player X killed player y at his base then went to go raid pd and player Y killed him at pd with pd being at a different district on the map its not nlr and I wouldn't punish player y.
Why I should be chosen(we recommend around 150 words): I think I should be chosen for the moderator position because I am helpful on the servers and I also see a lot of rulebreaking that goes unhandled. A lot of the time I get rdm'd and make an f1 and nothing is done about it for atleast an hour. I also play on server 2 a lot where there aren't a lot of staff and theres a bunch of people just rdming and nothing can be done about it. I am also an American player and I don't see that many staff on when im on because most staff being from the UK theres a 5 hour time zone difference between me and the UK. thanks for reading, dady
