TOPIC: [TTT Super Adminstrator] Miia's Application

Oooo what a great day to come back,
I have been waiting for this for a while now, you are definitely SA and HA material although you don’t use your mic I feel you are still able to stand out and state your opinion

finally this is what i want from Miia and what she deserves a higher rank then admin

Miia you have been staff before and did your job aswell amazing just like now and have fun with people imo but overall your activity is very good and talk with a lot of people staff and non staff and thats great to have

Has been admin for a LONG time, definetly deserves this, its gonna be a hard decision

You have a good application and great activity.
You are active on the forums, especially things regarding TTT, and that is great.
You have been staff for such a long time and I see you as a great candidate, I would love to see you as Super Administrator/Super Adminstrator, the only negative is that you don't use/have a mic, but I don't see that as a huge negative as you defiantly deserve Super Admin, it would just make things easier.

There might've been other small things that might have been denied, but the main was that you did not have a mic. But I don't know so I can't say for certain.

My opinion on this is all the other currently applying SA's are trying so fucking hard to speak more in meetings, trying to do what people gave them feedback to do, and have spent week after week trying. Personally i would see it as unfair for the people who have applied for weeks and weeks and have committed themselves to become SA and actually voice to voice communicate to LT. Sure miia being around for a long time but i think we should think more about time as time does not give you LT qualities but dedication to the role will. Sure miia is active in-game and does have leadership skills and knows probably more than i do about TTT but there is barely any communication if any communication with the LT and you use text chat in meetings which nearly all the time get ignored which is good you try to put your input in but if you were actually trying hard for SA you would use mic which brings to the point that other people are trying much harder than you when it comes to applying for SA. Also kyber actually tries to use mic and tries to speak and he still being getting denied all the time and everyone just keeps telling him to talk more constantly and dodo i believe is great candidate as well as gurren. But hey i'm an ex-SA now no longer actual LT but that does not mean i can't think like a LT member still so my point is there are people who actually try hard to become SA and i don't believe you are trying as hard as people like dodo and gurren and kyber. If anyone thinks im wrong feel free to tell me what i am incorrect about.

Yes, yes yes yes and FUCKING YES !

You do your job right. You have always done.
You don't brag about your skills. You show them and make your colleagues improve.
You don't seek that position for the position itself. You want what is best for the server.

As you are, without any doubt, the most qualified and most dedicated admin we have, it is high time to cut the bullcrap, and make you a SA at long last. Plus, you are the staff member who spends the msot time with your colleagues, as you have a stable and good activity every week since months now.

It will greatly benefit the server.

People who put things into chat shouldn't be ignored, they are the ones who should be seen first, and the people who keep speaking gotta stop speaking over each other, it's idiotic and obnoxious to hear every time something is brought up five people start all talking at once. While I know people brought things up usually as a concern, I believe there's better ways for these type of things to be brought up, such as asking for permission to speak, and not just blurting your whole thing out at once, while others do the same thing and neither one of them stop. I've been apart of many different communities, some more hardcore about things than others, but there's a lot of simple things that don't require people to act hardcore, which is simply ASKING FOR PERMISSION TO SPEAK. I can't stress this one enough, because while I understand people wanted to bring things to others attention, I really did feel like wanting to leave the meeting time after time just because how obnoxious I thought people were being while in a meeting of all things. I get we all want to have fun and chat with each other, but the meeting isn't the place man, we're all there for a single reason, and that's NOT about your life story, or even about you, we're there as staff members who are attending our weekly server meeting, that is it.

I personally prefer to have SA's that have good communication with staff in general, and not Lead Team per se. Usually I gave people the criticism that they should speak to "us" more, but if they as staff communcate excellently by being on the Teamspeak a lot then that is good enough for me. Just knowing that they're there and that we can depend on them. I do believe that Miia can improve there, but that does not mean they have to use voice and it does not mean that they need to be in the LT spacers. Just being on TS and speaking with staff would be good enough for me.

That is not Miia's fault, though. I personally do tend to read what's going on in chat, although it can sometimes be rather difficult to do properly.

Exactly. Miia goes to every meeting and always says what they have to say. Sure, we can't hear them, but their dedication is amazing.

That's just a baseless assumption. Although the argument can be made that Miia should be using a microphone, the fact that they do not use one does not directly correlate to them not trying. If anything I feel like Miia has done excellently by focussing on other areas that do not involve using a microphone. Their meeting activity, their leadership and strong communication in-game and their excellently well thought out forum posts.

That's both false, rude and completely missing the point. I know that we've never really properly known each other Jax, but if you always jump to quick conclusions such as these then I'm honestly unsure how you ever got SA.

That is because Kyber (no offense to him) needs a lot more experience and time before getting lead team. He is quite simply not ready for the rank, and I feel like he could most definitely improve in multiple areas such as leadership. Overall, he needs more experience.

I have to agree here. Gurren and Dodo are also excellent candidates for this rank.

Once again I urge you to read Miia's forum posts. Kyber, who you repeatedly keep praising, has not at all shown to be of a similar caliber as the other three you've mentioned. Miia's posts are excellent, and they really show how good of a staff member they are.

Anyways, good luck Miia. You're definitely an amazing candidate for this rank, although you can also still improve in one or two areas (join the Teamspeak more please )
