Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin.

I always have to wait over 2-10 minutes untill an admin responds to a question/case/anything staff related. I now have to still upload proof for bans/ltaps, if i get promoted i can work more efficient and better. I have extreme difficulties when it comes to tp'ing to roofs and working efficient to bring people to my roof. I now have to manually search their steamid's and bring them to a roof. And with the administrator rank i just can pick him up and work way more efficient.



Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user).
In many occasions in example:
Example 1: There's this user that keeps rdm'ing i've warned this user 2 times. Then i proceeded to freeze him for 5 minutes. After that this user continued to rdm. I warned him for RDM again and he got kicked. He rejoined and continued again. With the administrator rank i could've banned him banned when he continued again.

Example 2: One morning i joined the server, i got instantly RDM'ed, I brought up the user that killed me and killed me in a sit again, i procceed to freeze him. I gave him a warning and a 5 minute freeze. After those 5 minutes he continued again, I repeated the same procedure and instead froze him for 10 minutes. After those 10 minutes i was kinda done with it but wanted to make him waste his time to think about his actions (if he does care) and froze him for 30 minutes * in my head my plan was that he was going to disconnect) But he was waiting his time out, just after i punished the guy chummy jumped into the conclusion and told me to give him a warning (in short text) (and the user got kicked) If i was admin i could've banned him after the third punishment and instead of freeze i could have jailed him. *thanks again chummy for the help*


If you had to write a facebook write in chat to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?
Firstly I would congratulate them to get accepted as mod

Then I would explain them how everything works following:

1. Okay, we will start the training with this, The F1 System.
This is a system where you can see people that made F1's.

You open the f1 system by pressing F1 (obviously)

It will look like this:

You will see: Admin Request: These are F1's created by an user.
Warnings: These are warnings created by staff members gyazo.com/fb2ac3dfb0b6f86e4d44f19cb6501c42
Loggings: Here you can see and search up what an user does if he drops money etc etc.

More info about the F1 system.
F1's or, admin requests are sorta appeals that players make when someone else breaks a rule or something else.
If you handle an f1 there will be more options for you.

You see here: Goto, Bring, Mark as finished, Abort handling this,
This will get explained in the following:

If you right click: on your F1 you will see Request by "user"
Goto is when you click on it it will teleport you to the user.
Bring is when you bring the user to your current location: do this on a roof or such
Mark as finished is when you are done with the f1 (click this only when you have taken care of the situation)
Abort handeling this (is when someone else needs to take over or its an troll f1)

Then you have the loggs menu

You see here all the loggings of the server, kills, arrests, scraps etc.
When you are in a f1 and you want to look up how he got killed, you click the search bar and enter the victims steamID and you'll see by whomst he got killed.


Commands:
Goto:
Brings you to a certain user.
/goto user

/goto (Spoderman)

Bring:
Brings the user to your current location

/bring user
In example the user is stuck /bring user
Only use this command if the tp commands doesnt work because the user is dead.

Back:
/back user
Brings you back to your last known location- (this is very bugged for me)
You finished the users f1, /back user (brings back the user to his last location)
User broke nlr. you warned him for breaking nlr. the user doesnt want to go to spawn
you brought the user to spawn

Slay:
/slay user
This is for slaying someone
In example the user has a big gun.
/slay user

Kick:
/kick user (reason)
This kicks someone off the server
In example someone mass rulebreaks/propspam etc etc.
/kick user mass rulebreaking
(Only use this if there is no admin online)

Teleport:
/tp, /tp name
This teleports you to the place where you are aiming at
Example: You need to go to a spot where you can talk calm to a user.
/tp (to a roof)
/tp user

Freeze
Use this command if the user is running away from the sit or is not listening
use /freeze user (time) (or do tab, search name and freeze)
In example: user is propspamming, you see that. /freeze user (time)

Warn&Unwarn
User broke a rule
/warn name
/warn steamid if you are not sure if his name works
Use steam id (is better trust me)

Unban from job
If someone is false demoted you need to use this:
Goto tab search name, unban from the certain job
User has been unbanned from the cerain job
In example: user has been demoted for rdm
you press tab, search his name and unban him from the job


Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you them banned him permanently for propspam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

Why should i be promoted.
I think i should be chosen because i am reliable, friendly and have changed over the past 2-3 weeks. I have helped new players by introducing them to the server, giving them a fair amount of money to buy a car and couple of special weapons. I've helped people in OOC with common questions and daily problems.

I've been around zarp for quite a while now, roughly 2 years. I have been staff on almost all servers on zarp (except the new ones) and gained loads of experience. I know all commands and the little things you need to learn for being staff. I think i can improve and grow in positions since i think im qualified for the job.

I've also had a rough moment where my attidude really went to shit and really made people mad. I've apologized to everyone i can possibly imagine, and also have made a public apology. 3 weeks ago i set my mind right and tried to change. I think i succeeded. I've become friendly and helpfull. I also asked for people's opinions and tips for me so i can improve on the thinks i might be doing wrong.

Im almost always online, my gametrackers are in my opinion great and i think im qualified. Why i want to be staff is because i think server 1 in particular lacks staffing. I usually wait around 15 minutes untill my f1 gets handled by the regular 1-2 staff. Revine or John. I think this needs to change. My objective is to motivate staff more to do f1's by creating a little minigames to motivate people doing f1's and ofcourse more ideas.

I think i have proved myself in this short period of time and i think im ready for the next position. I've done enough f1's and even helped my fellow moderators to understand the rank and understand staffing better. Having the administrator rank would ease this task. EG: spectating moderators to help improve their staffing.

I kinda do and do not think that my previous denial was a valid denial reason. Yes i was racist on teamspeak and was banned on the forums, but that's all outside garry's mod. Ingame i tried to be as mature as possible and tried to help people the best i can. And im sure other staff members can tell the same. So again, im trying to improve over my mistakes that were made and try to regain peek performance.
