Explain what you would do if someone was Text/Mic Spamming: Depending on severity I would ask them kindly to stop, if they continue it would result in a temporary mute or gag.
Explain how you would deal with someone using an exploit on the server: If "exploit" in this sense is referring to cheating I would have to follow the hacking policy seen here zarpgaming.com/index.php/help/policies/75-hacking-policy. Otherwise if it is a typical bug related exploit, punishment would vary on severity and use case. But would also have to be reported to a higher up.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 75 words): I'll keep this short as I've written several apps up to this point through my years of gameplay on Zarp and its servers. I've been playing Bhop and think it would be neat to moderate a server that isn't SSRP for once, I've shown before time and time again I can be trusted with "power" and just want to better the server. Explain some of the administrative features of Discord and when they're used appropriately:
Timeout:
Timeout can be used in circumstances when a user might post something or do something in which they need to take a break and rethink their actions, Timeouts can last 1 Minute, 5 Minutes, 10 Minutes, 1 Hour, 1 Day and 1 Week, it would depend on how often they are getting a timeout on which option you would take.
Mute:
Mute is really like a timeout as you are limiting such features as typing, it can even be used if a user is Micspamming in channels and just being a nuisance, you should also always mute someone for racism.
Kick:
A kick just like a ban should be one of the last things you do, it can also be used for promoting, the only difference between using the kick command and the ban command is that with a kick a user can easily join back with an invite.
Ban:
Ban - A ban should be placed if the user in question is breaking Discord TOU or causing any distress by placing death threats, threatening to dox, promoting cheating software or promoting other services.
What would I do different with my new powers? (we recommend around 50 words):
Currently, I hold the rank of SSRP Head Admin, having these powers would help me if when I am training any new SSRP staff members so I can drag them into the needed channel and keep the training between just me and the newly added staff and not need to rely on someone else to do that for me. It would also allow me to ensure every Discord Administrator was being fair with their powers and not abusing them in any way.

I'm always making sure when I'm present that everyone is abiding by the rules.

Hello, I’m Nerve and some of you may know me as Baxter Black. I’m 21 and I live in London. I’ve been with the ZARP community for about 9 and a half years.
I’m currently Working Full time. I like playing games and listening to music. Other than Garry’s Mod I mainly play Overwatch and Black Ops 3 due to my love for FPS games.
I started staffing on ZARP on the 19th of November 2016 as a Mod on SSRP, I then staffed for around 2 months until I left the Server for a couple of years. However, I returned on the 14th of January 2018 as a Mod again, I sadly did not become an admin until the 31st of May 2021. Later on, in the year I was able to gain the rank of Minecraft Admin on the 11th of September 2021 and Bhop Admin on the 24th of September 2021, I managed to get the position of Super admin on the 30th of October 2021 i then got forum staff in Appeals a day later, I have recently came back and obtained the rank of Bhop Admin again on the 29th of January 2023 in which I also obtained Appeals Staff once again and discord administrator a day later on the 30th of January 2023, I was then accepted for Bhop Super admin on the 9th of February, i managed to obtain the rank of Bhop Head admin on the 12th of March 2023. While being on the LT on bhop i ventured into the LT on SSRP too, obtaining SSRP Super Admin on the 22nd of april 2023 for my second time. I have currently been back around 2 months, on the 10th of August 2024 i was reaccepted back into the SSRP Staff Team, where i helped out the current LT and CM team by making suggestions that was implemented and helped fix certain issues, on the 24th of August 2024 i was accepted back into the SSRP Lead Team as Super Admin for my third time.

My Plans
I currently attend every meeting and testing that I am needed for, my main plan while being HA is to make sure every suggestion is getting fully reviewed and to continue to go to every testing session I'm invited to. Attending testing sessions allows me to find any possible bugs or issues before any update is released causing less issues for players in the long run. I have found multiple bugs so far that have been fixed and I still continue to look for issues on the server.

Although not any report abuses on staff members have come across the forums since I came to SA due to the staff team not doing anything that is worth reporting. Being in the community for 8 years I believe I have gained a lot of experience while being staff, I have been a Mod four times and Admin multiple times , I believe I have gained more than enough experience with Admin and Moderator and believe I will use this role to its full potential.

Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
I have had a few situations where I needed the assistance of an LT member, I have personally caught two users hacking and reported them to the LT, one of the situations involved me and other users doing a zone capture when a friendly heavy weapons dealer approached we didn't kill him at first, then he started spinning and locked onto a users head which caused the user to die, I then reported this instantly to Onion on discord to make sure the user that was cheating would be dealt with.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
I would first read through the report abuse and review any evidence that has been submitted, making sure not to miss any detail so I can fully understand the story from the user's perspective. I would then contact the staff member on discord to try and get their perspective of the situation so I can understand both sides. After looking through the evidence thoroughly I would decide if it was the staff members fault and if so whether they worth talking to or if they need a more severe punishment, if I believe they needed a more severe punishment I would bring it up in the LT meeting and gather all the other LT’s opinion on it, I would make sure to keep an eye on the individual to make sure they aren't doing anything else.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
If I noticed a ban that I believed to be a bit too excessive, I would contact the staff member who has banned the individual and ask them for some context behind the ban and if they took anything else into account, such as the user being punished for this before...

Hey Mars, thanks for showing interest towards reporting certain bugs.
We have fixed the following to make the server experience better:
The default bunnyhop knife has gotten a rework and now has a new wep selection icon, new skins, new animations, and new effects including new knife inspect animation.
The unlockable knifes have all been fixed and gotten the appropriate skins, animations, effects and configurations.
Reselecting an unlock will no longer spam-equip
Switching between unlocks will execute the proper animations and sounds and give the proper delays
Pressing the weapon reload bind will properly execute the knife inspect animation
Inventory data to support materials have been optimized. (According to the database, you should have 1 material. If this information is incorrect, please provide more information so we can investigate and reimburse you)
We are aware of the state of the server and despite the fact that there isn't a dedicated server owner for it hence why we can only do so much, bringing specific bugs to our attention really helps the process of getting things done.
Found a few bugs in Zarp Bhop. Just trying to make the game better, I play this server almost every day and have been playing for over a year.
Bugs:
1. The knife inspect animation is broken when pressing "f"
2. The Materials bought from the item store disappeared from my inventory
3. The purchase "trails" from the item shop do not work on your character when you first spawn in. You have to unequip and re-equip to see the trails work correctly.
Suggestion:
- can we get a tool to exchange/scrap the unwanted store cards from opening packs?

Someone new joins the server, explain how you would show them how to B-hop: Firstly, I would explain they need to jump in the air and hold space then hold either A or D while moving their camera left or right respectively. I would tell them they can spectate me or somebody else to see how it should look. Lastly I could also link them a good youtube tutorial on bunny hopping and air strafing properly.
Explain what you would do if someone was Text/Mic Spamming: I would verbally warn them to stop spamming, if this horrible behavior continued I would mute them. Perhaps if they continue doing it again and again I would keep muting them and ask for a higher up to ban them!
Explain how you would deal with someone using an exploit on the server: First I would tell them to stop doing what they are doing and then I would check their rapsheet to see if this is their first rodeo. If they have a history of exploiting, or if the exploit is a severe one in the first place, I would immediately contact a higher ranking staff member with ban powers!
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 75 words): I am an awesome staff member with years of experience of staffing on various zarp servers and other communities! Recently I have been enjoying BHOP so hard that I had to apply for staff to stop all the pesky rulebreakers on the server. To be quite honest, the server is in dire need of new staff members and I am willing to take the task upon me.
