It isn't common sense, and I'm not angry about the ban. I just want proper punishments to be handed out to abusive staff members, if that's too hard for you to understand you shouldn't be on this thread.

More thinking and planning is needed then because you can’t nuke the server just because you’re hosting a event, it just shouldn’t work that way because ALL PLAYERS are affected by it, not just the event participants.

I see how someone could see you tasing them as kind of arresting them BUT that was definitely not a valid reason for a ban. As you already said, you were not breaking any rules and from what i can see, I don't think you considered that a form of loophole, now has from what I understand, if they are doing an event outside of event area, they are in no right to prevent players from rping (in this case, you). But let's say we put that aside and say, hey, thats my event, I decide how it will go, then Morgan still had no right in banning and could have simply came to you and told you that you were disqualified and that he would like to stay out of event zone

Hey Jaden!

First of all, thank you for submitting your report! I've read your post and contacted Morgan as well as a few other staff members that were around when the whole thing happened to get as much information about it as possible.

You were punished during a lead team event for breaching the rules that were clearly outlined at the entrance to the event area. Now it is true that the event rules didn't specifically forbid tasing itself but the taser as a weapon for police jobs is only meant to be used to arrest wanted criminals so it's understandable that you would be kicked out of the event / punished for using it during the event, especially if attempting to arrest participants is against the event rules.

In my opinion a one-day ban is appropriate in this situation as you are a long-time player that is expected to know how events work. Ruining events wastes our time since we put a lot of effort into them. It also ruins the fun of all participants. Morgan didn't abuse his powers by punishing you, he did the right thing. Even tho a warning might have been enough, a one-day ban is still warranted.

No further actions will be taken against the reported staff member.
