If you're willing to listen to some random dude's recommendations, I'd recommend you to watch Code Geass (best ending of anything ever) and read (keyword is read, please do not watch the anime as it's shit) One Piece if you have the time (though it's extremely long and has a slow start, also the art style takes some getting used to).

I'd also recommend reading Kubera. It's an online Korean webtoon, and the translation is a bit iffy because of it. However it's basically the best story I've ever read, and that goes for any medium - I'd recommend you to check it out (just google Kubera webtoons).
