i know someone from israel who is willingly going to jail to avoid doing time in the military. is this as stupid as it seems to me or is it really that bad?

I would say the army is not a nice place. Definitely not suitable for everyone. The food is horrendous, you can forget about hygiene, no one cares if you want to go home and they can order you to stay for as long as they want, your commanders are 99% of the time are people who are only a year or two older and they act like they are elite because of that, and fuck your personal space and time. Oh, and rape isn't very uncommon.

So I don't really know what to tell you, but I rather serve in the military than to do time.

Yes, getting married.
It feels great getting married young because it gives you a different perspective. A lot of people are telling me I should TRAVEL and EXPLORE THE WORLD before getting married, but in my opinion, it's waaay better to do it with your best friend than alone. If you can't do that with the person you love, are you really marrying the right person?

Also, you can start a lot of things early, such as saving up for a house together, etc, and you gain a lot of experience. I don't want to waste my years. It's going to be fun!

EDIT: Eilati people do not go to tourist locations as much as tourists, we're fed up with them lmao
