TOPIC: Sleep paralysis..

Sleep paralysis.. 8 years 10 months ago #286195

So has anyone of you had sleep paralysis?
Its the scariest thing when you wake up..

I once experienced it when I was sleeping but when I woke up. My eyes were open. I can see well BUT my whole body was dead.. I couldn't control anything and as my eyes were open I saw something like a monster.. it came up to me and I couldnt scream, talk or move anything.. I could just move my eyes. It is known that you wake up feeling crushed or chocking.. wost shit ever..

I have, along side a lot of other horrible sleep related incidents such as night terrors.

I had that happen to me once. I Thought i was dead, I had no control over my body and add to that I had hallucinations.
It ruined my day and I was scared to go to sleep.

I don't have any experience with sleep paralysis but maybe you could try to keep your eyes closed when waking up and then try to move, if you can't then keep the eyes closed until you can.

Again, I never had sleep paralysis myself but I'm just saying what's on my mind.

I heard that if you close your eyes you can skip it but since then I did not know of this, Nor did I know of this existing.

K I'll stick with night terrors and sleep walking. I'd rather not see hallucinations of the sinister or woman in black after watching all of the movies in a row alone in a basement while Ur parents are sleeping and girlfriend left. Rip ability to sleep after knowing this is a thing.

I made a post about it months ago when I had my experienced scariest thing in my fuckling life

Dude you brain thinks your asleep and you have no control over your body, Things come toward you out of the darkness and you feel like you are choking, All you can do is breathe, And the scariest part is you can't scream. It can last up to like 10 minutes but it feels like hours

Couples who regularly experience this have their own little system for example if one of them is having it they try to signal the other partner using heavy breathing, The partner can then attempt to "wake the persons brain up" like you would normally.

I had it once. Saw Morgan Freeman standing in the corner.. staring at me...
On a serious note I didn't have any really vivid halucinations other than a vague figure outside my window but it took a long time, like 5-10 minutes. I was absolutely terrified though.
