This is my little list off what i check when i see a potentional staff. The first section is what you mostly get considered for in the meeting the second one is what you need to become a very good staff.
Meeting considerations
Gametime
Activity
Recent warning(s)
Maturity
Reporting rulebreakers
Rule knowledge.

Becoming good staff
Proffesional.
Willing to do hard and boring work.
Willing to use a lot of hours helping players and community.
Respectfull.
Self controll.
Outstanding rule knowledge (e.g knowing them 110% including numbers of every single rule)

What I first look for in a potential moderator is if they say they know the owner and will get me denoted for a validly earning. Once I know they are directly in contact with chute I usually check to see if they where recently banned. If they have just been unbanned for mass RDM they got my vote.

Overall the most important factor is that they spam ooc with vulgar messages.
