TOPIC: Hacked... (Long story)

Just to clarify this is my full fault to trusting people online and i dont want grief because of it

So... This is quite a long story but i think i have to kinda let everyone know just to clear things up...

Yep ive been hacked it started off about 3-4 months ago before i joined zarp i was admin for a community called "Dynamic Cube" i knew the owner MasterIntense pretty well and he seemed like a nice person overall so i moderated his servers for a while but then they got taken down because of his "lack of money" to keep the server up. After that i started playing Zarp but i still kept contact with MasterIntense for the next 3 months playing CSGO with him time-to-time.

And very recently when i was talking with him he sent me what he said was a "gmod script" and i KNOW people allways say "dont accept stuff from strangers" but i treated this guy as a friend and the same way i treat many people on zarp today with trust... so i foolishly accepted the file and ran it... Little did i know the little 12kb "script" was not a script at all, I was playing gmod and it force crashed my graphics card and sent me trying to fix it for the next couple of minutes, meanwhile this guy was hacking into my account

First he changed my steam password, and then also changed my email password so i couldn't find any proof of him changing my password, after i regained access to my email he changed the steam email to his own locking me out of the account for good,

But what i did find was this guys ip adress, Im think he wouldn't be foolish enough to have his real ip address so he probably changed it straight after, but i tracked the ip and it shows somewhere in Dublin,ireland. I dont think i can do much with this IP address but its here if i want to get valve or someone involved with this account fraud ( 86.44.149.215)

So yeah after he did this he changed my profile picture and steam account to "Adolf hitler" I assume he did this because of my nationality (Polish) just to piss me off abit more.

Luckily he cant use my credit card or inventory for a week due to steam's service, And i have contacted steam support but they say it might take up to 6 days so i really wish i can kick this guy outta here real quick, I have locked my account so he cant go on VAC Secured games and get me banned but he can still menice around with my friend list.

So... in advance i apologise to anyone who has been offended by any of the messages he might have sent you, and please dont make any contact with my account untill its been retrieved again.

Also im no expert but what can i really do to this guy to get him a punishment, Contact valve? the police? I dont know what to do and i dont want this guy to get away with it please help me

Get DCX or someone to remove your staff rank temporarily before he finds out about zarp.

Also, I would say go to the cops.

Oh i already was like Who dafuq is this Adolf Hitler dood xD But im sowwy... Best thing you can do is contact Steam/Valve for this. GL (If Valve/Steam cannot do anything call the Police i did it once they worked it out for me as its Privacy that he is breaking.)

You could notice it was an .exe file, you could use SandBoxie..
