Unfortunately a post that just says "i think we are due our next map rotation" doesn't tell the cm team why people might want a switch or what to. If its the gameplay loop thats getting boring, id suggest that you guys throw balance change suggestion or new item suggestions on the forums, seeing as the cm team doesnt really do balance changes themselves atp, and I get it, its not the strong suit of the current CM team lineup, so it is what it is. Also some of those maps just suck for FPS, and have tons of empty space, and are oriented for RP more than PvP. There's a very easy way to categorize them, for any map just put it through a ZARP or PERP map test. Downtown? ZARP. Riverden? PERP. Newexton? PERP. Especially since people really hated some areas on newexton and weren't satisfied until areas from Downtown were added. Most nuking spots on that map were way too defender sided, (fuck elevator bases.)

downtown sucks now there is only 1 good base spot (ele) due to all the new stupid items

• write real suggestions
• suggest changes to balance OP items

I remember that I spent a lot of time on zarp during the time when I had no life and would enjoy sitting 5 hours straight playing gmod, despite this horrible choice of life, I still used my brain and made relevant suggestions

Just dig in y'all brain and suggest changes instead of complaining when X gang uses the OP strat to win a nuke
