Tried Brewdog Jack Hammer the other day. ABV is sitting comfortably at 7.2%, a supposed "double dry hopped IPA". According to untappd, it has 250 IBU

Would recommend with a hot curry!

Fou' Foune by Brasserie Cantillon - 2024 Bottling

Belgian lambic macerated with Bergeron apricots.

It gets a big 9/10

Lambics are amazing and so is most of what Belgium produces beer wise. Had the luck to attend a 3 Fontainen tasting with one of their brewers not too long ago. Got to try a lot of fantastic lambic blends. One of the best parts was having the chance to try several different vintages that had all been stored properly to see the effects of the aging; usually taking the edge of the tartness and giving the barrel induced flavours more room to talk.

I might be incorrect in recalling that you also live in Sweden but if I am, you've got a bunch of places such as Akkurat, Zum franziskaner in stockholm and Beer Ditch, Peas & Honey in malmö that you should visit.

Edit: Upon digging in memory you might be Dutch. In that case fuck you, you have easier access to Belgian beer than I do. And I both hate you and envy for it.

Do you prefer it in the back of the patrol car or on the park bench just before the patrol car rolls up?

I am in fact Belgian and have never had this specific beer so you might actually be a better Belgian than me lmao. Oude Geuze Boon is my go to to get buzzed but that's fully the most bog-standard lambic you can find. I HAVE had Lindemans Pêcheresse (peach lambic as well) many times though, probably one of my top 5 beers!

And yes, I know I'm spoiled when it comes to beer (and chocolate). I often forget how blessed we are (until I have a foreign beer) but I'm working on being more consciously grateful for the amazing selection in every corner store and supermarket. Westmalle Tripel and Karmeliet are the unbeaten kings of Belgian beer to me, would warmly recommend if you haven't had these yet (should be easier to find as they're much more mass-produced compared to niche beers like the lambic you posted above)!

You are spoiled as hell if you're located in belgium. You've got some of the best beers on the planet available within your own country. The struggle to get certain belgian beers internationally is insane. I actually made a trip to belgium to get a few cases of westvleteren years back because it was impossible to get by other means.

Don't really care if it's not beer but it's hella good. 10/10 super refreshing.
