Don't. Keep. Bread. in. the. Fridge! WTF!?!

Significantly lower temperatures are required to slow down the propagation of microorganisms, which is better achieved in a freezer than in the FRIDGE. Even the packaging on some brands of bread tell you to put it in the freezer and "to NOT refrigerate".

With excess bread, just freeze it. Less wasting.

Sounds like a bunch of nerd shit, I’ll just eat the bread before mold grows on it like everyone else

Exactly! My family always had to freeze bread when I was younger, I thought it was a normal thing to do

Always end up buying like 2 loaves of bread, splitting it up in plastic bags, putting them in the freezer. Then every morning when I wake up, take one out let it thaw as I prep then eat it as I leave. That way I need to only get bread once every two months or so...

Doing such seems perfectly normal to me...

but they you'll always need 2 loafs out since you cant predict how fast you will eat the bread and you have to wait for it to thaw

Putting bread in the freezer is entirely normal, especially if you have a lot of bread you just bought and you cannot eat it all at once or you just don't eat the one loaf of bread you have within a few days, then simply putting bread in the freezer is the perfect solution as you can simply put the pieces of bread you want to eat in the microwave, then proceed to eat with whatever you want on it.

Wouldn’t it go bad (moldy) quicker after it’s frozen due to the moisture?

Microwaving bread is normal here, it's a good alternative to using a toaster.

But why use an alternative and just not a toaster :?
