what do you think about the ending of aot? i dont know a large amount myself just that a majority of the fans werent happy with it so would like to hear what someone whose watched it for years thinks

I always loved it but this latest season is what made it my favorite. I found it harder and harder to both be patient for the rest of the season to air while also avoiding spoilers, which is quite tough, so I recently caught up to the manga and without spoiling for anyone here I'll just say that I'm fine with the ending. Its no code geass ending but its no Darling in the Franxx ending either. It may kind of mess with a specific characters writing but its whatever. It was just good to me and personally I believe when the anime finishes airing next year it will do a good job at explaining things perhaps better than the manga did. Basically what I'm saying is even if its not a perfect ending, the ending isnt what defines the show for me and wont change how I feel about the show in general. Maybe I'll just have to wait for the anime to finish airing to truly form an opinion on the ending but I doubt it will change much as the last arc contains some of the best chapters in the entire series.
