It really depends on how you view it, if you keep a positive attitude and keep on top of work I'm sure you will enjoy it but if you slack off too much and don't study for subjects you don't understand it will just be a waste of time, keep in mind I haven't been to uni and this is pretty much applies to all education the only difference is you pay to go to uni in the uk so it's crucial you make the most of it

It really depends on what you make of it. For instance, a degree like engineering is known to be very stressful, but if you manage your time well you can still go out and chill while making the most of the education so you aren't wasting your money.

The difference between college and high school (or whatever its called in Not-America) is that if you want to do anything, its solely up to you.

But sometimes it will just slam your ass and there's nothing you can really do about it...

As a musician like you I think it's way easter than high school since I'm studying for the first time the real subject I love (there are also some demanding exams, tho). Just follow your heart in choosing the right one, if you apply to a university just hoping to work prestigiously with that specific university degree you will just waste time and money. Depends what you are studying, and what type of university you go to. Local colleges will most likely be less challenging/stressful than if you go to a very prestigious university like LSE/UCL. I'd recommend it to everyone, social experience is unlike anything else. And picking up a degree at the end of it is a plus. I wouldn't say the Uni itself is fun but that time period of your life is definitely fun, you get more freedom, you open up your social circles, you *potentially* have a car, and also *potentially* a job which means you can at any point in time just walk out of the house hit some friends up and go for a ride. That's the most fun I've had in my life thus far. I guess if you study something you really love that could also be fun but it depends a lot on the professors and their ability to teach.

I searched up videos about college on YouTube and all it is is people being stupid because they’re having parties with like 400 beer cans, smoking weed and vaping, so uni looks like fun when you’re not doing the work? So that’s the fun part, now the part when you study, you study for your subjects that you chose, you revise for the tests/exams, get good scores, feel good, party. Is that it?

I'm gonna presume your in sixth form so if you watch sex education on Netflix how similar is it to your life? Odds are it isn't cause YouTube and TV are completely different to real life.

Honestly your over analysing it. It's just "fun" cause your living with friends kinda like the fun when you go on a school trip with your mates except there's still school work to be done at the same time.
