Ima try to quit smoking, ive had vapes before. But all broken lol, anyone know a good one? decently cheap. also any good flavours?
Just sharing my personal experience (to each his own)
I've owned a SMOK and a Vaporesso Swag, I preferred the Vaporesso. Yes the smok can carry a larger volume but the vaporesso was more resilient when it came to accidental drops + broader range when it came to control settings. As for disadvantages go the smok leaked even after replacing seals so there's that. The vaporesso took long to charge.
All vapes are imported so they are pretty expensive in our country, also not much of a variety here so that was something I had to consider. Ultimately it will depend on what your requirements are (and if you say your previous ones are all broken, specifically what about them led to them being broken and picking one that is more robust in that area)
As far as flavours, these were my default
GBom - JFK conspiracy
N Dulce - Mango Cardinal
I preferred the more fruity types but to each his own.
As far as quitting is concerned:
For me, I was one of those annoying goody-two-shoes as a teen, never thought I would partake (I hated the taste). This changed in varsity (insane workloads, parties, anxiety, tragic events). I learnt just how calming it was, how it paired well with a decent buzz and how it became an incentive/reward system between tasks ("ok, ill do this next, but before I start...then when I'm done..."). So I am not judging here.
Quitting meant finding an alternative for my anxiety, that was the root of my problem. (I tried a few new hobbies, settled on running, it did the trick. Also getting better at it became rewarding it gave me incentive to just stop)
There were also factors such as health (a raised level of ldl cholesterol, skin breakouts). These are rapid motivators, though I hope no one has to get to this point to make that decision.
Vape helped with the "ritual" and oral fixation but honestly it doesn't give the same effect as a cigarette. I have friends who bought vapes, used them for a month and went right back.
My advice would be to find your triggers and deal with them in a more healthier way (yes, easier said than done). If its the nicotine, then reducing intake or cold turkey (expect some edginess). If its due to anxiety, finding better ways to cope with anxiety. Evolving habits/healthier alternatives/replacements. You know yourself.
And most importantly being realistic with yourself. For some people dealing with it in a group helps, for others doing it solo is better (attracts less of that BS: "oh hows it going, aah I thought you said you stopped"). And if you fail, just don't stop trying. In any case "quitting" is not a milestone event, it's a system of decision-making, saying (I can if I want to, but nah).
Best of luck.
