If it was to be a modded server there will most likely be less players due to the amount of players you can actually hold on modded servers along with the amount of people that will be able to run the modded minecraft. It would be nice to have it normal minecraft to where there will be more players and if there are cool custom plugins like other servers it might give users a reason to play.

You’re saying about less people being able to run it but my pc is literally garbage and can run over 250 mods at once at 40+ FPS. I’d be more worried about the servers performance as that could be harmed by some of the mods
